Hey everyone! I have been meaning to pick up the Freeman Apple Cider Vinegar 4-in-1 Foaming Clay Mask for quite some time now and wanted to share my thoughts as well as how it worked out on my very oily skin!
Claims & Benefits
This is a 4-in-1 product for all skin types that acts as a: mask, scrub, cleanser and a toner. There is both Kaolin and Bentonite clays that help to absorb excess oils from the face. Another great ingredient is Pumice which acts as an exfoliator and helps to remove any dead skin cells that there may be on the face. Freeman's claim to not test on animals, that there is no parabens and it is made in the USA.
Price & Where To Buy
I paid $4.29 for mine and I purchased mine at Ulta. There are always coupons floating around so keep your eye on for those! This product is also sold at: Walmart, Amazon and different drugstores as well as some grocery stores. You are getting 6 fl oz/175 ml of product in one tube and it has a shelf life of 36 months.
4-in-1 & How It Worked
When I used this as a cleanser, I quite enjoyed using it and it does have small granules that are meant to exfoliate the face. My face did feel clean and I loved the scent of it! It smells just like fresh apples or that scent of when you first cut open an apple! It doesn't smell anything like Apple Cider Vinegar which a lot of people dislike that particular scent. When I used it as a mask, it applied smoothly and evenly onto the skin. It dried in about 6-8 minutes and I wasn't sure how long it would actually take because it doesn't tell you on the back of the tube. It does feel quite tight on your face once it dries and you can't laugh without it hurting or cracking so you need to take it off ASAP!
I also suggest that you remove it with warm water using circular motions so that you really can get the most out of this cleanser by exfoliating your face while washing everything away! I noticed that when you are removing the face mask using warm water, it turns into a milky consistency which was very nice! My skin felt so smooth and clean after washing away the mask. I was very impressed and I definitely look forward to using it again very soon!
Would I Repurchase?
I definitely would because they would be a great item to take with you when you travel because it is a 4-in-1 multitasking product. That would eliminate bringing several products since this does a total of 4 things which would ultimately save you a ton of space in your suitcase. I found that it did remove the excess oil from my face and did a great job at removing the dead skin off my face! I did enjoy using it and I definitely would repurchase because it worked well on my skin type! It claims to be for all skin types but I can't speak to that because I can only tell you about how it performed on my oily skin.
