Project 10 Pan | Round 14

Hey everyone! I haven't been using makeup that much during quarantine but I had some empties in my bag that I wanted to move out of my collection. So here's a look at the items I finished over the course of the past few months!
Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer (5 ml) - It claims that it lasts 12 hour and just by working 13 hour work days, I can confirm that this is true! I really did like the consistency of this concealer and I bought mine at Ulta in the USA. I used both a brush as well as a beauty blender to blend it out on my face which took a little work. Some people complained about the scent but it didn’t bother me at all and I wish they made this in a bigger size. It is a great affordable option and I would repurchase in the future.

The Body Shop Make-Up Setting Spray (60 ml) - I have gone through another bottle in the past and I really like the sprayer on this! It evenly distributes the mist and it really locks in my makeup for the entire day. I travelled with this and there isn’t really much of a scent to it.

Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper (3.5 g) - I just picked up the travel size to see how I liked this product and I got it at the makeup sale for $12. I did find that I went through it pretty quickly and if you don’t like the smell of peaches, you will not like this product! I also took out the sifter because it was beginning to get hard to get out the product when the container was almost out of powder. They use peach and sweet fig in their formula. It is a light-weight translucent powder that did an ok job at containing my oils throughout the day. I’m on the fence if I would repurchase the larger size.

The Body Shop Hemp Heavy Duty Lip Care (4.2 g) - My friend purchased a kit from The Body Shop for me 2 Christmases ago and I really enjoyed using it. It was a little bit thicker and it was great to use in the colder months. I ended up keeping it in my purse and/or pocket for daily use. I ended up scraping out the last little bit because I heard that The Body Shop now has a recycling program where you can bring in 5 clean, empty containers to get $10 off your next purchase.

C.O. Bigelow Lip Balm No 515 (3 ml) - I got this in the travel bag when I flew premium economy and I did like the actual product. The packaging was annoying as it was hard to get out product but the actual product itself was very moisturizing. This is meant for people with dry and parched lips. I have used this brand in the past and it worked well!

Colourpop Crème Gel Liner in Show Me (0.2 g) - This gel liner wasn’t my favourite as from the beginning when I received it in the mail, not much product showed up on my waterline. I used it every day and I even tried warming the product up on my hand first. It eventually ended up drying out on me. There are a lot of positive review on this product and I think that I just got a bad batch.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Paaarty (1.5 g/0.05 oz) - This was the free birthday reward from Sephora in 2017 that also came with a lip product. Blush isn’t one of my favourite things to apply and I can honestly go without it. This was a nice subtle nude shade to use every day and as you can tell, I used it all up until the packaging broke! You can purchase the full sized version in the same shade on the Sephora website for $38.

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara (12 ml) - I have honestly heard so many influencers rave about this inexpensive mascara and wanted to try it out for myself to see what the hype is about. It is a good mascara but I still prefer my IT Cosmetics mascara. They are both similar but I like the wand on the more expensive mascara. This didn’t flake much on me until the formula started getting old and dried out so that was my fault. It’s a very black mascara that does the work for you and I had to use less passes through my lashes than other mascaras that require more effort. I would repurchase it and would say that it is worth the hype as it definitely added volume to my sparse, straight lashes.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara (0.30 us fl oz/ 9 ml) - I have gone through one of these in the past and this is hands down my favourite mascara. It gives me both length and well as volume in one mascara. The only downside is that the product tends to ooze out of the sides and it can get over the rest of your makeup if you aren’t careful. Just make sure to clean it up often before it gets out of hand. I will continue to repurchase this mascara!

NARS Lipgloss in Turkish Delight (4 g) - This shade was worn by Kim Kardashian and it is honestly the perfect topper to complete most lip looks. The formula I wish was more long wearing but it is a nice light pink shade. It’s been in my collection for a long time and it’s basically finished as well as expired so time to move it out.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY
