Estee Lauder & L'Oreal Warehouse Sale Haul | March 2018

Hey everyone! I attended both the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale and the L'Oreal Sale in Markham on Sunday, March 25th, 2018. Let's dive into my shopping bags and take a look at some great finds that I managed to pick up!

Our first stop was at the L'Oreal Warehouse Sale that is about a 10-15 minute drive away from the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale. The line-up was the longest that I have ever seen it and 1-2 hours before the sale ended, it was out the door into the parking lot. I only purchased 2 things and still spent over $60. There were different security guards and sales associates telling everyone not to open the packaging. I get that but if there is no tester available, I want to make sure what I'm purchasing is what I assume it to be inside the box. There were some great deals and they also had a really good selection of products this time. The first thing that I picked up was the Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray. I had to ask for it because it was behind the display of lipsticks and this is the old packaging hence why it was at the sale in the first place. My bottle was $10 for 30 ml of product and this claims to: reduce redness, minimize pores as well as to absorb any excess oil.

The second thing that I purchased was more expensive and I actually went through a deluxe sample of this exact product that I featured in my first ever Project 10 Pan blog post. This product wasn't available for the longest time in Canada and when I finally seen it online at Sephora, I couldn't justify the price tag of $75 for 40 ml of product. I ended up caving in and purchased it for $45 at the sale. I'm referring to the YSL CC Cream in Apricot which makes your skin look amazing! I can't wait to start using it again because I've definitely missed it!

Update: I have the old packaging and it is now $70 for 1 fl oz which is less product.

We then made our way over to the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale and we had about an hour before it closed. I mainly picked up face and lip products. I purchased two MAC lipsticks for $10 each in: Yash (Matte) and Dahhlinggg! from the Mariah Carey Collection which is a Cremesheen. I remember purchasing my Tom Ford Lipstick in #01 Private Life for $20 at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale - Fall 2017 and this time around, the lipstick was selling for $34. I'm not 100% if it was the same shade but you can see for yourself in the above photo. The next makeup item I purchased was the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in 0.75 Ivory. It retails for $55 at Sephora and I managed to snag it for $23 at the sale. I swatched it on my hand and it felt great. I had also been wanting a good quality foundation stick for a while and decided what better time than now to get one? I also almost picked up a Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Sandwash Pink (as pictured down below,) but decided against it because I was already taking home quite a few lip products with me that time. They also had Becca at the sale for the first time ever. There were some liquid illuminators, one in Champagne Pop as well as one of their eye shadow palettes.

Update: The Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick is now $62 at Sephora.

As for some skin care products, I purchased the Estee Lauder Nutrious Vitality8 Radiant Energy Mist for $20. I had never heard of this product before but the packaging intrigued me. I could no longer find it on the Estee Lauder website. I'm pretty sure that it has been discontinued because on the Singapore Sephora, there is a waitlist for this product and it doesn't seem to be easily accessible at many stores here. I was also very excited to finally purchase the GLAMGLOW PowerCleanse Daily Dual Cleanser because my friend had purchased it at the last sale and really enjoys using it. She said that it breaks down makeup well and I'm pretty sure that she bought some for her cousins as well. The price didn't change from the last sale and I paid $17 for it. Again, apologies because I am sure that this cleanser is discontinued because it is not listed on the Sephora website and on the GLAMGLOW website, it is listed as $0.

As for the $5 bag at the end, the three items to the left of the picture were in my bag. They include: MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Pure Pout (that I gave to my Mom,) MAC Velvetease Lip Pencil in Lover's Lane and The Estee Edit More Than Brows in #04 Rich Brown (the line has been discontinued.) The free item when you hand in your invitation was the Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser that I am excited to try out!

You are probably wondering if I had purchased anything from the $4 section at the sale this time, and if you scroll up the first photo that I posted, at the very bottom, there are 3 items that I scooped up. The first one is a repeat and it's the Estee Lauder New Dimension Shape + Fill expert Serum that is discontinued (to my knowledge.) I also grabbed MAC Lipglass in Water Deities that is still available on the MAC website for $12. The last item is MAC Lightful Marine Bright Formula SPF 30 Moisturizer Mini that sells for $14 online. I have heard about it for quite some time and can't wait to actually put it to the test!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY
