SimpleHuman Mini Sensor Mirror Review

Hey everyone! I have been in the market for awhile now to get a good quality mirror for my vanity. I have purchased countless low-end mirror in the past that just weren't cutting it. I did a lot of research and decided to buy the SimpleHuman Mini Sensor Mirror when I found it in the sale section online!

Benefits & Features
I chose this size because it is ideal for traveling and it even comes with its own padded carrying case. It is very portable, easy to recharge as there is a USB port and you just need to plug in the provided cable to the port, plug it into your computer or get an attachment to plug it into your wall and it will recharge. I love that it does not require actual batteries to work and I have only recharged mine twice since I purchased it 3 months ago.

It works when your face is detected in the mirror and the sensor will turn on. When you leave the room or when your face is no longer detected, it will automatically shut off. It also claims that you will not have to replace a bulb and my mirror is 10x the magnification. The light is bright enough for my liking and on the back of the box, it says that it is 550 lux  and the colour rendering index (CRI) is 90 which is more than twice as bright. This resembles natural sunlight and the light is not warm at all. You won't go outside and have any terrible makeup mishaps which I'm sure, we have all had in the past! You get a 5 year warranty and the instruction manual inside the box.

Where To Buy, Price Point & Mirror Sizes
I purchased mine from The Bay when it went on sale for $112.50 and it usually retails for $150 online. My mirror is about 5" in diameter and that works fine for me because I use two mirrors when I do my makeup. It does come in different finishes and mine is in the silver tone.  It also comes in rose gold and there are various types of mirrors. One can mount on the wall, another one is 8 inches and is larger than mine or even, this brand sells just more than mirrors.

Is It Worth The Splurge?
I have been testing this out for about 3 months now and I have to say that it is definitely worth the money! I love the fact that the ring lights up because my old Conair Mirror was supposed to but it stopped lighting up after a few uses. This has great magnification and you can see things very close up which makes it so much easier when applying liquid liner as well as getting a precise application. I love that you can travel with this mirror because let's face it, hotel mirrors aren't always the best and some have terrible lighting in the room. The mirror does fold down flat and just make sure to turn it off before putting it in the traveling case.

This is very easy to use and is not hard to figure everything out. I would say to wait until it goes on sale and then pick this SimpleHuman Mirror up because you will not be disappointed! Also, don't forget to register your product online!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY
