Taya Hair Masks Review

Hey everyone! I recently picked up these hair masks from the brand Taya Beauty at TSC (The Shopping Channel) Warehouse Sale that I went to for $5 each. Let's see my thoughts and dive a little deeper into each mask.

Taya Inner Core Hair Strong Anti-Breakage Mask (118 ml) -
Apparently, they use an ancient recipe that contains Brazilian Black Clay and Pure Bamboo Fibres. It claims to make the hair 4 times stronger and helps to prevent breakage as the name suggests. This retails for $36 on their website (only the larger size is available,) and there are no reviews yet. I used this at night after I brushed my hair and I applied it evenly into my hair. I slept with the product in a bun on top of my hair and I washed it out in the morning. It has a nice scent to it that is not too overpowering and I found the formula to be rather sticky. It didn't do anything amazing to my hair and was just average in my honest opinion.

Taya Copaiba Resin Advanced Volumizing Blend Fiber-Mud (73 ml) -
This is a smaller jar with less product for the same price as the other mask. I wouldn't pay this much for a single hair mask as I have a lot of hair and require more product. I imagine that I will go through this jar rather quickly but it has a nice scent which is different from the first product. I really like the packaging on both items and plan to repurpose it after, which was a key factor in me deciding to actually purchase these items. The formula is also sticky and I honestly thought that it was a hair mask until I read the description online. It doesn't feel like a styling product and I wouldn't use it for that purpose. I will continue to use this as a hair mask as there are both Brazilian Green Clay as well as Copaiba Resin contained in the formula which helps to: revitalize, replenish and restore the hair's natural volume and body. Again with this product, it didn't do anything ground breaking to my hair and there isn't much to report in that regard. This retails for $28 USD.

These hair masks are just okay in my opinion and I got them for a great price which is why I honestly purchased them. I had never heard of this brand prior to the sale and it is hard to track these down as I believe they are only sold on home shopping networks in the Canada and US. Of course you can shop on their website, but sometimes I like picking up and browsing the various hair masks in-person at a store. I don't feel like you would be missing out if you didn't have these in your collection and they won't be regulars in my hair care routine any time soon.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY
