My Current Favourite Highlighter - The Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm Cosmetics

Hey everyone! Today I will be sharing my go-to highlighter at the moment which is The Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm.

I think that the packaging is fun and it comes with a good size mirror. It is great for throwing in your purse if you are out-and-about. I wear this during the day and also at night. I can't get enough of it! I like to use this especially on my cheek bones as well as my cupid's bow. It really brings the light to all the right places on my face and it is very pigmented! There are not large particles of glitter and you won't be looking like a giant disco ball when you leave your house! I feel that this champagne colour will compliment a lot of different skin tones beautifully! I have a yellow undertone to my skin and it suits me wonderfully!

I have used this as a eye shadow before and it holds up on my oily lids nicely throughout the day (with help of a primer of course!) You can even apply this in your inner corners and under the brow bones for a nice shimmer! The only con is to apply with a light hand because of the pigmentation, it is very easy to go overboard and apply more than you would have liked!

I have finished an entire pan of MAC Soft & Gentle MSF in the past but I prefer this one by The Balm! Sadly, you can't buy The Mary-Lou Manizer at Sephora or Ulta. If you live in Canada, you can buy it in-store at Shoppers Drug Mart or I bought mine on Hautelook.

If depotting eye shadows is your thing, you will be able to easily depot this one. I haven't tried myself with this particular item, but I have an entire blog post dedicated on how to depot your makeup out of the pan so be sure to check that out!

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!

Until next time,

Berrz <3
