How To Keep Your Oils In Check During The Hotter Months Using Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

Hey everyone! I have combination skin and during the warmer months, my oils on my face get out of control sometimes! I need a product to keep them in check! My go-to product to eliminate the shine and oil is the Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. It is colourless powder and if you're curious, the shade on the back is called 'invisible.'

Once again, you can tell by the collage that this product has been well-loved! It is definitely a staple in my make-up collection! I wouldn't just go out and purchase a brand new product for the purpose of this blog post because I don't think that's being real or truthful with all my readers. I will only ever mention products that I personally love and have used for a good amount of time. If I do mention a new product, it is because I haven't tried it out yet and either want your feedback on it; or I am going to try it out and will give my thoughts on it after I finish trying it out.

Enough with this little tangent/rant and back to this wonderful powder!

I didn't include a swatch of this product because it is a translucent powder and there is no colour to show in form of a swatch. Also, it won't oxidize or change the colour of your foundation because there is no colour to it! This powder is matte and I do not find it to be cakey at all! I don't find myself using a ton of product when applying it to my skin and I don't need several touch-ups throughout the day - maybe just one if I do remember to carry this product with me!

This is a drugstore product and I believe that I picked mine up at Walgreens or Rite Aid. It is also sold at Target and Ulta. I paid around $10 (give or take,) for this product and there are always promotions running on the Neutrogena brand for buy one and get the second one 50% off so be on the lookout for that!

STAY CLASSY.

Thanks for stopping by!
