Project 10 Pan | Round 10

Hey everyone! It's time for another round of makeup empties with a mini review on each item!

MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base (6 ml) -
I actually received this with my order as a sample to try and honestly, I don’t feel like this did anything out of the ordinary to my skin. It was just a regular face primer that did what it was supposed to do. It did not irritate my skin and if you’re wondering, it comes out white in colour. It is not sticky and it feels almost like a lotion consistency on your face.

MAC Strobe Cream (6 ml) - I know that there’s different ways to use this product but I mainly used it as a primer underneath my foundation and concealer. I thought that it was an interesting product that did its job but I’m not running out to the store to purchase it anytime soon.

Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray (30 ml) - I honestly didn’t feel like this did anything to my face and I would spray it either before or after my primer. The sprayer was just okay and I did not understand why there was a double cap. This is the old packaging and I do have an entire dedicated review on it. I originally did pick this up at the L’Oreal Warehouse Sale for $10.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define in C1 (4 g) - This concealer was supposed to be a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and it is definitely a more affordable option but you are getting less than half the product of the more expensive concealer. I really enjoyed using this concealer and I have no negative aspects to point out! I would repurchase this again from Ulta in a heartbeat! I have an entire dedicated review on this product that you are welcome to check out and I originally featured this in my Buffalo Shopping Haul | 2018.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in #103 True Ivory (30 ml) - When I looked online, it was in different packaging but not available online at many retailers. Anyway, I didn’t care for this foundation honestly and I found the consistency to be heavy although the packaging says that it is lightweight. It also says that it delivers shine control which I disagree with because I have combo/oily skin with a very oily t-zone and I was always shiny when wearing this foundation! Overall, this foundation didn’t impress me and I wouldn’t repurchase. If you want a more in-depth review, check out my Review on 3 Drugstore Foundations blog post!

Full Brow - Brow Wax (1.2 g) - This lasted me quite a long time and I used it every single day. I used my fingers to apply this directly onto my eyebrows and even on their website, it suggests people to use their fingers to apply the product as the warmth of their fingers melts the product into the skin. It’s clear and I did not find this to be a sticky product. They formulate it with castor oil that helps to nourish and condition the brows. I really enjoyed using this product and would gladly use it again in the future!

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Prenup (4.2 g/0.15 oz) - I am not much of a blush person, but this shade is gorgeous for every day wear. It’s not too bright and it’s described as a mid-tone pale pink. Mine actually dried out but I enjoyed using it while it lasted and I made a solid dent in it! This does have almost a wet feel to it like their Super Shock Shadows which is a formula that I really enjoy!

Colourpop Lippie Pencil in Bound (1.0 g) - I checked on the Colourpop website and I can't find this shade online anymore. This is a great every day colour that is almost like a dusty nude pink on the lips. The description of the Lippie Stix is not accurate in my opinion and the shade is darker in person as far as the lip liner goes.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Knockout Defining Lift and Fan Mascara in #01 Black (2.8 ml) -This was a pretty good mascara! I applied it onto my lower lashes and it did not transfer off throughout the day! This is a plastic wand and the wand ensures that every lash is evenly coated which I appreciate. It was easier to get into the inner corners and outer corners. It lifted my lashes to a certain extent and it didn’t really fan out my lashes too much. My lashes were not super clumpy and I would use this mascara again in the future!

MAC False Lashes in Extreme Black The applicator resembles an inverted cone and I found that this mascara didn’t do anything out of the ordinary to my lashes. They did the job and nothing more. I did like that it was a very black mascara and it claims that it pushes up lashes for maximum volume. I still had to curl my lashes and didn’t really lift them much. It also claims to be a mousse-like formula that I didn’t really make a huge difference.
