Glasses from Clearly.ca

Hey everyone! I have been wearing glasses from Clearly.ca for many years now. I have had nothing but positive experiences from them and I wanted to share my knowledge with all my readers. They are an online store but they do have a store in Toronto on Queen St which I have yet to go to! Their frames are extremely affordable and they offer a large selection of options to choose from! I appreciate the convenience of this service and how easy it is to place an order online. You just need your prescription to plug in all the numbers and they make it easy to fill it out. You copy what your optometrist wrote down and carry it over the online form.

I like to get my eyes examined when my prescription is expired because I want to make sure I am purchasing the correct lenses and my eyes are not being strained. That happened to me years ago and I had frequent headaches. You also measure the distance between your eyes and they provide you with instructions to do that which is very straight forward. In total, I have ordered 3 pairs of glasses from them. The first pair is very used and worn therefore, I will not be showing that pair.

1. Kam Dhillon 3062 Teresa Havana (Top)

I want to apologize because I can't locate these on the web site, but I included the exact style number in case they reappear on the web site at a later date. You can match the ones that I got to ones you may like better on the web site. I did order them last year.

I just want to mention that I had to get these glasses tightened, altered and loosened 3 different times. The first time I wore them out, I was pumping gas and they almost fell right off my face. Needless to say, I went straight to the mall to get them tightened. The second time I had to go back because they were way too tight and gave me indentations. Finally, I got them slightly loosened and I guess the third time was a charm after all! You may have to do the same when you purchase a pair of glasses so be forewarned!

2. Field & Stream 011 Teton Brown (Bottom)

These are my newest addition and I simply ADORE them! I knew right away when I put them on that they were what I had been looking for because I have a thing for large, oversized glasses. They remind me of a pair of glasses that a grandfather may wear or if I want to channel my inner Steve Urkel! I also want to point out that yes, they are indeed men's glasses. However, I didn't let that deter me from purchasing them because I could not find a pair of women's frames that I liked nearly as much as these ones here. They are slightly aviator shaped which I knew that I wanted from the beginning of my search for these style of frames. I originally wanted the gold frames in the same style, but they were roughly $60 more than these and they weren't on sale. I figured that I have dark brown hair and these are brown frames that I can still pull them off.

When I first opened the box, I realized that they were more copper in colour but ever so slightly which made me like them even more! I am not sure if I will have to get these altered yet because I have only worn them lightly for a short time. As you can tell from the picture, it does come with a protective glasses case, a lens wipe and an adjustment tool.

The best part about them is that I only paid $19.00 CAD for them! I received free shipping which was rather fast in my opinion and you can claim them on your income tax because they email you the form to do so! I didn't upgrade to the extras that I did with my Kam Dhillon frames which include: an anti-reflective coating, a UV protective coating and a scratch resistant coating.

What is awesome is that their web site has a try-on view so that you can see how a particular pair of frames look on another person. If that isn't your thing, you can upload a picture of yourself (following the guidelines,) and see how it would look on you! With some frames, you have the option of getting transition lenses or even sunglasses! If you wear glasses while on the computer, phone, tablet or even watching television, they have an option to get digital protection lenses to help reduce that blue light coming your way.

I also know several people who have purchased from Clearly.ca and they love their glasses just as much as I do!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
