Sephora Haul | 2014

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you an order I placed online a few weeks ago at Sephora.

In my April Empties, I used a sample of the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in St.Mortiz and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to commit to the full size version.

This shade is perfect for me because I have a very yellow undertone to my skin, and it is hard to find many foundations that will do me justice. A few months ago, I found a video on YouTube by ItsMyRayeRaye speaking about my very problem. I started mixing in yellow food colouring to my pink undertone foundations. I had several because I had gotten colour matched before and the person told me that I had a pink undertone. Me taking this person's 'opinion' lead me to take several photos using the pink under tone foundation, and my face looked like a mask in most of them. Especially when the flash was on....

This brings me back to the foundation, I am overjoyed that I have found a foundation right for my skin tone that does not require me to mix in any food colouring. Speaking on my own experience, it never stained my skin, but it left my face brushes stained with the yellow food colouring which made it very hard to get out. It eventually did come out, but it took a while and a lot of persistence was involved.

Tweezerman Unbreakable Mirror (Pink/Red) - SOLD OUT

I thought initially that this was a great mirror to be able to throw into my purse without worried about getting it ruined. However, I have since returned the mirror because I realized that it truly wasn't something that I needed. Most of my makeup compacts come with a mirror anyway. I did appreciate that they packaged it with a protective seal. Tweezerman is a great brand and I really enjoy my items that I have from them.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Elemental Energy Eye Shadow Palette - SOLD OUT

This is honestly a gorgeous palette. The colours swatch beautifully; I enjoy the range of colours, the theme that is presented, the clear top, the textures and how simple it is overall. My only critique is that the size of the palette is a little large and can not be very practical when it comes to traveling. I am just going to store it in my makeup collection as a collector's item.

The Samples:

Sephora included 5 fragrance cards as well as a card telling me that there would be triple the points happening from 4/24 - 5/11. I ended up going to a Sephora to take advantage of this perk and I bought the full size version of Dolce & Gabbana - The One.

Sephora was nice enough to include a fourth sample along with my order in addition to the three samples that you get to choose when you checkout. As you can see in the photo, it was the GLAMGLOW BRIGHTMUD Eye Treatment.

Above are the three products that I chose as my free samples upon check out.
- Make Up Forever HD Pressed Powder
- Make Up Forever HD Microperfecting Primer (Neutral)
- Tom Ford Black Orchid (did not like the smell of the fragrance)

There was a coupon code that I used to get a free deluxe mini. (Sorry, it has since expired.) I adore this perfume and can't get enough of Dolce & Gabbana The One! It is my go to scent when I attend a function or when I go out at night. Also, how cute is the mini version?

Thanks for reading! Have an amazing day!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
