April Empties | 2021

Hey everyone! Let's go through all the products that I used up this month!

 Face
Morphe Highlight & Contour Beauty Sponge - This has been highly raved about by some of the top beauty influencers and I really do not like it. It’s very hard on the face even after you wet it. I do like the flat side for carving out your contour but other brands have that same feature and make a softer sponge. I just bought this to see what the hype was about.

MAC x Star Strek Trip The Light Fantastic Powder in Lune Luster (6.5 g) - This was a limited edition collaboration MAC had a few years ago and my powder is definitely expired. I used quite a bit of it and it had a nice sheen to it. It wasn’t very glittery and it wasn’t a blinding highlight.

SF Glow Sun’s Out, Pouts Out Gold Foil Lip Mask - I got this in my FabFitFun box and it made my lips super soft! It definitely hydrated them and the lip mask was nourishing. It’s infused with cica and honeysuckle flower extract. This is a vegan product and it’s made in Korea.

Body

Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Conditioner (325 ml) - I wasn’t a fan of this conditioner as it felt like I was putting a layer of thick lotion onto my hair. I ended up using this to shave with. It does smell like fresh lavender. This the old packaging and they have revamped the look of the bottle.

Bath & Body Works

Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel in Honeydew Cooler (1 fl oz) - This fragrance is not available on the website but it smells great! It’s perfect for Spring and Summer! Green is my favourite colour and the formula was a lighter shade of green!

Hair

Likwid Stress Reliever Natural Hair Oil (30 ml) - I got this in my FabFitFun box and I love a good hair oil. This does have a strong floral scent and if you do not like strong scents, you won’t like this. It took me a few months to go through the bottle and I will say that sometimes the top was very hard to open. This does retail for $75 USD and although I enjoyed using it, I don’t think I would spend that much money on it.

Samples/Promo - Face

La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Melt-In Cream SPF 50 (15 ml) - I’ve gone through many samples of this and it’s nice to use on the face. There is no white cast and it absorbs quickly into the skin. It wasn’t heavy and didn’t make my skin breakout. It is fragrance-free and water resistant for 40 minutes.

Dr. Belmeur Panthenol Soothing Gel Cream (80 ml) - This was nice to use every day and it did a great job at hydrating my skin. The formula felt light and there was hardly any scent. I believe that this product has been discontinued in Canada as I can’t find it for sale anywhere. This is a k-beauty product and I liked the packaging as it was easy to use. It claims to improve the skin barrier’s condition, soothes sensitive skin and improves the skin’s moisture level.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream (15 ml) - This was a nice every day moisturizer that layered well under makeup. There are a lot of benefits to this cream and it is made in the USA.

Shiseido Brightening Gel Cream (1.5 ml) - This was nice to use on the skin. There was a slight scent to it and it absorbed quickly into the skin.

Skinician Purifying Mask (2 ml) - This claims to deeply cleanse the skin, help to fight breakouts, help to control excess sebum and that it leaves the skin clear as well as mattified. This is a wash off mask that is recommended to use 2-3 times a week. This is targeted to those who have combination, oil and acne prone skin types. This definitely made my skin soft but I will say that it doesn’t have the best scent.

Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay (5 ml x 2) - This made my skin feel so soft and clean after rinsing it off! I enjoyed the little exfoliating beads and the rose scent was amazing! This was one of the best wash-off face masks that I have ever used!

Hair

Derma E Hydrate & Smooth Nourishing Shampoo with Apricot Seed & Argan Oils (10 ml) - This smelled great in the shower and did a great job at cleansing my hair! It claims to lock in moisture to help boost shine, helps tame frizz and leaves hair silky!

Derma E Hydrate & Smooth Nourishing Conditioner with Apricot Seed & Argan Oils (10 ml) - This was a great, thick conditioner that smelled even better than the shampoo! This is: sulfate-free, non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan. They use plant-based vitamins and nutrients to help strengthen as well as to help nourish the hair.

April Empties | 2019

Hey everyone! I have made it a goal to use up at least 15 products each month whether they be travel sized, samples or full size. I am trying to go through my stash and what I already have before I purchase anything else. I just want to free up some space in my room and my bathroom! Now let's get into my April Empties!

Face
Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips for the Face (8 count) - I also mentioned this in my March Empties | 2018 and am sad that I see them on clearance everywhere as I think they are discontinuing these particular strips. I use them once a week and bought several boxes on clearance to stock-up before I can no longer buy them in-store.

Origins Matte Moisturizer with Willowherb (15 ml) - Originally, I purchased this in a set on Black Friday of last year that is unfortunately no longer available. You can still find the full size product that is selling for $43 on the Sephora website. I really liked this product as it smelled good, was a water cream consistency as it was very lightweight on the skin and is great for using on dull skin. I typically used this in the morning even though you can also use it in the PM. It has a light fragrance which I thoroughly enjoyed!
Update: It is now selling for $46 on the Sephora website.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam (30 ml) - I purchased mine at the Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale | September 2018 for $4. I featured this in my Disappointing Products | Volume 4 post. I wasn’t a fan of this cleanser as it felt like I was applying soap onto my face. I used this as my second cleanser for removing my makeup. I didn’t enjoy using it and I will never repurchase it again unless they changed the formula. They changed the packaging but I don’t know if the formula is the same or not.

Sheet Masks
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrogel Face Mask (30 g) - I have an entire dedicated review on this particular mask and spoiler alert: I love it! It comes in two parts and it is a hydrogel mask. It feels great on the skin and it adds back in a lot of moisture. There is always a lot of essence leftover for future applications that I even use on my arms, chest and neck. It is a very affordable mask and I really can’t say enough good things about it!

St. Ives Revitalizing Sheet Mask in Acai, Blueberry & Chia Seed Oil (26 ml) - This mask was very cold when applying it onto the face. It claims to instantly hydrates for vibrant, healthy-looking skin. It is paraben free, dermatologist tested and made with 100% cotton. It is also made with 100% naturally sourced extracts. This mask was just okay to use and isn’t one of my favourites. It did hydrate my skin but that’s pretty much all that it did.

Body
Le Petit Marseillais Extra Gentle Shower Crème in Orange Blossom (400 ml) - I really liked using this shower cream as it was gentle on the skin, didn’t dry out my skin and the fragrance was really nice! This bottle lasted me a long time and this is a French brand. I got my bottle at the Chick Advisor Spring Cleaning Event but it has since been discontinued.

Hair
Inner Core by Taya Hair Strong Anti-Breakage Mask (236 ml) - This was a nice hair mask that I purchased at the TSC Warehouse Sale. I paid $5 for this and on The Shopping Channel, it retails for $45. The formula includes Brazilian Black Clay and Pure Bamboo Fibres. My hair felt soft and stronger after using this product. I applied it at night and left it on over night. I liked how the product was inside a tub, but the wording and design completely disappeared on the outside of the jar. I do have an entire dedicated review on this hair mask.

The Body Shop Rainforest Shine Conditioner (60 ml) - This is meant for normal to dry hair types. Ingredients include: pracaxi oil, caméline oil and Community Fair Trade olive oil. I can no longer find this product on their website. It was a thicker conditioner and it was honestly hard to get out of the bottle. I had to unscrew the top and it was such a pain to try and get product out. It was a pretty good conditioner but they really need to change up the packaging and the label around the bottle was cracked which resulted in it peeling off.

Miscellaneous
Equate Quilted Pads (125 count) - I have featured these before in the past and these are honestly my go-to. I purchase them at Walmart and they are $2.27. You can’t go wrong with these and I can’t recommend them enough!

Promo/Samples - Face
Amore Pacific Future Response Age Defense Serum (3 ml) - I am pretty sure that this product is discontinued as it is no longer on the Sephora website and it is sold out on every other retailer’s page except for Amazon or Ebay. I had used this in the past and really enjoyed using it. I got this was part of a 500 point reward set from Sephora.

Marcelle Revival + Skin Renewal Anti-Aging 360 Serum (1 ml) - This claims to be: renewing, illuminating and redensifying. You can use this during the day and night. They use ingredients such as: chicory root extract, marjoram extract and pea extract. The first ingredient is water and I didn’t find this to be sticky as it absorbed into the skin well. I would have to try more than just a sample to form a solid opinion but it was nice to use and the scent wasn’t strong at all.

Marcelle Revival + Skin Renewal Anti-Aging Day Cream (1 ml) - I received this sample in the mail and it was nice to use on the face! This one claims to be good for all skin types but there are two others where they are targeted specifically for dry skin types as well as another formula containing SPF 15. I would have to try this out more to be able to form a true opinion.

Cetaphil Hydrating Eye Gel-Cream (2 ml) - I received a sample of this in the mail and I really enjoyed using it! It claims to deeply hydrate the skin around the eyes for 24 hours and helps to smooth wrinkles. It was very hydrating, it absorbed quickly and I really liked the texture of it. I would definitely consider purchasing the full size once I run out of all my other eye creams. The larger size does come in a squeeze tube which I really like as it is very sanitary opposed to the twist off jar.

Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser (40 ml) - I got this for free at the Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale | March 2018 at the very end as part of a free gift. I think that they reformulated and they also changed up the wording on the bottle. I did enjoy using it in the morning and it smelled great but not too strong! The exfoliant inside the tube was not too harsh.

Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash (29 ml) - I received this as a free sample at a show and I wonder why it took me such a long time to get around to trying this amazing product! It smells great, it made my skin incredibly soft and it is very gentle on the skin! It is Dermatologist recommended and the first ingredient is water. This is truly a gem and should be spoken about much more!

April Empties | 2018

Hey everyone! Spring is finally here and let's see which products I finished up that I loved or hated for the month of April!

Face
Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx Peeling Gel (15 ml) - This product definitely intrigued me the first time that I came across it. Basically, you want to start with dry skin and apply the product onto your face. Next, you will want to go in with circular motions to remove the dead skin off your face and rinse everything away. It will leave you with a layer of fresh, soft skin and I used it once a week. It is expensive for the full size as you get 100 ml for $60 but it is a great product to use. On my old domain I have a post called: A Potential Dupe for the Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx Peeling Gel that is one of my most read blog posts that you should go and check out!

Clarins Daily Energizer Cream (30 ml) - I really enjoyed using this particular product as it made my skin smooth and it felt good applying it onto my skin. I did not get the gel-cream and this is definitely one of my favourite moisturizers that I have ever tried out. If you have fake nails, this won’t be ideal for you and I recommend that you pick up a small tool to get the actual product out of the jar because it does cling onto the sides. I really like creams that come in jars with a removable top and the orange colour brightens up my vanity! I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase this item again in the future as it works great as a day cream. I do have an entire dedicated review on this particular cream by Clarins that you should check out!
Update: Pretty sure that it has been discontinued.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 60 (88 ml) - I know that there’s still product left in my tube but I recently check the expiration date and it expired last year in the month of August. I’m not taking any chances and getting rid of it. I actually realized it was expired when I was filming my Beauty Products That I Just Can’t Go Through! video. I like to mix it into my moisturizer before I leave the house and start my day. I enjoyed using it and it does smell like sunscreen but the scent isn’t too overpowering unlike other products on the market. It isn’t the most lightweight feeling sunscreen on the market and I also want to mention that I have the old packaging. I do have a review on this products and I actually list many facts in my blog post called: Why You Should Apply Sunscreen On Your Face.

Volcanic Ash Nose Strips (7 count) - Personally, I prefer the Volcanic Ash Nose Strips to the Aloe Nose Strips from The Face Shop but that’s just personal preference as they both do the job. You can check out my review where I talk about both kinds in a blog post. This is actually my last box in my stash and I’m thinking of either going back to my Biore Nose Strips or trying out something new for my next purchase of pore strips!

Sheet Masks
Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask in Green Tea (20 ml) - This mask was soaked in essence and not lotion. It didn’t smell like green tea but it had a very pleasant scent to it. I found this sheet mask to be very relaxing and it fit comfortably on the face. I would definitely repurchase this one again in the future! I have a blog post titled: Testing Out 5 Innisfree It's Real Sheet Masks | Review where you can see which ones were my favourite!

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask in Bija (20 ml) - I had never heard of this ingredient but was intrigued to try-out this sheet mask nonetheless. Bija is apparently known for their soothing properties and this mask felt very cooling on my face. It was dripping (literally,) in essence and I did notice a scent that I can’t quite put my finger on. This is supposed to help your skin with various problems that it might have and it is also meant for moisturizing your face. I really enjoyed using it and I would use it again!

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask in Acai Berry (20 ml) - This mask was soaked in lotion which I did not like. I also felt indifferent about the scent. The main purpose of the mask is to help the skin appear firmer and smoother. Overall, I didn’t care for this one and I wouldn’t repurchase it in the future.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrogel Mask (30 g) - I really enjoyed using this mask and although it can get messy, it’s totally worth it! It’s a hydrogel mask that didn’t slip off on me when I walked around for a bit and it comes in two parts for easy application. It smells just like the other products from the Hydro Boost line which I already am a fan of and I’d repurchase this again in the future without any hesitation! Check out my post called: 2 Neutrogena Hydrogel Masks | Review to get all the details on these masks!

Neutrogena Deep Clean Hydrogel Mask (30 g) - I found this mask to be more cooling than the other one but they both work amazing when applied onto the face! This one had a different scent than the other one but they both smelled great! This one had a green tint to it and what I like about these masks is that even though they’re dripping in essence and can be on the messier side, you can actually scoop your hand into the packet to put that essence down your neck, chest and even put some onto your arms while you’re at it! These are some of my new favourite masks from the drugstore and you should stock-up when they go on sale!

Body
BIC Soleil Razors (4 count) - I have been using these razors for many years now and they are definitely my favourite disposable razors on the market. I purchase mine from Walmart for a few dollars and I go through about one each month. You can’t beat the price and I love the bright, fun colours on the handles!

Bath & Body Works
Nourishing Hand Soap with Honey Butter in Salted Honey & Vanilla (236 ml) - This hand soap smelled great as it had a very light fragrance to it and it felt amazing on the hands! It is definitely nourishing and I really like the packaging! The notes include: salted butterscotch, creamy vanilla and honey.

Car Fragrance Refill in Mango Dragonfruit (6 ml) - This scent smells fruity and tropical to me. I really enjoy using it in both Spring as well as Summer! It always puts me in a great mood!

Hair
Irresistibles Bio Organics Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil (375 g) - I have been using coconut oil on my hair for many years now and I love seeing the results! My hair becomes more shiny and softer after using it! I do have an entire blog post on: The Benefits of Using Coconut Oil that I recommend you check out!

Garnier Whole Blends Avocado Oil & Shea Butter Extract Nourishing Shampoo (370 ml) - I really liked using this shampoo and it definitely made my hair more soft as well as shinier. I would repurchase this in a heartbeat as it is very affordable at the drugstore and I have an entire dedicated blog post on this product that you can check out!

Promo/Samples - Face
The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream (50 ml) - I honestly didn’t expect to like this product as much as I did! I do love The Body Shop’s regular Vitamin E Cream as I always apply it on my fresh tattoos as well as my scars to help with the healing process. I looked forward to using this product every single night and I already have a full size jar of their Vitamin E cream in my drawer! This product actually came free with my order and I have an entire dedicated review on it.

Olay Regenerist Whip Face Moisturizer (0.5 ml x 7) - I received a few of these as samples and at first when I was reading the card that came with it, I was confused if it was a primer or a facial moisturizer. Anyway, I figured it out and the texture is definitely ‘light as air’ which it says on the card. It did not feel greasy or sticky on my skin, absorbed quickly as it claims to transform from cream to liquid on your skin to absorb instantly into the skin. Your face will look smooth with a matte finish and it even goes as far to claim that it is the perfect primer to help makeup stay throughout the day. I wouldn’t say that it gave my skin a matte finish and I would never use this as a primer for my makeup, but it did make my skin look smooth. They use Active Rush Technology which holds and quickly releases 1000x its weight in hydration and active ingredients. Mine does not have SPF but at the bottom, it says that it is available with SPF. A full size jar of this will run you $40 if you buy it from Walmart and you are getting 50 ml of product. I’m not completely sold on it but I don’t dislike this product either; I’m indifferent.

Hair
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Visibly Brighter Subtle Lightening Shampoo (8.3 ml x 3) - I have used the deepening version of this exact same product before and realized that I had 3 of the lightening shampoos. I decided to start using them since I had just run out of my everyday shampoo. My personal preference is the deepening shampoo if I were to compare the two but this one was good too. You can view my thoughts on the deepening shampoo by John Frieda because I actually featured that product in my November Empties | 2017.

April Empties | 2020

Hey everyone! If you are unaware, I have closed down my other domain and I have been moving over everything to Blogger! My posts will not be in order and I'm doing everything manually so please bare with me! Now let's see all my used up products from the month of April!

Face
Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel (10 ml) - This product helped reduce the size of my pimple and you only need the smallest amount. I found that I did have to use this over the course of a few days. It was effective and will take longer for the larger pimples to clear up. The price did go up by $2 since I last purchased it and they did change the front of the packaging. I’m already on my second bottle and it lasted me a few years without exaggeration!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Perfection Daily Solution (50 ml) - I’m had this product in my collection for quite some time and it take me a while to finish it. It’s finally done and I can’t seem to find it on the website. It was nice to use and I found that it did actually help my acne when it did flare up. It doesn’t smell the best but your skin care isn’t supposed to smell good and it’s tea tree oil after all. The product came out of a dropper and I used it at night.

Lancôme Vissionnaire Crescendo Progressive Night Peel (30 ml x 2) - I actually used up two of these as I had way more of Phase 2 leftover. Phase 1 contains AHA from fruit acids and quinoa husk extract. Phase 2 contains salicylic acid and gycolic acid. It helps to exfoliate the skin to promote cell renewal which helps to smooth the skin. I don’t recommend this for those with sensitive skin because it really irritated my mom’s skin and she gave me her bottle. I did see a difference in my skin and took advantage of the quarantine to use up these bottles as you shouldn’t be using this product then going into the sun as it contains an AHA. It is more on the expensive side as it retails for $99 and I don’t think that I would repurchase this again even though I got it for a great price but there are other products on the market for a cheaper price point that work just as well as this does.

Marvel Kawaii Nose Mask - Iron Man (8 count) - These are super fun to use and the Iron Mask nose strip actually shows up as his upper body armour in the form of a strip. I bought these from Miniso as Walmart didn’t have any pore strips from any brand in stock. These aren’t as effective as the Bioré ones in my honest opinion but they still do the job!

Marvel Kawaii Nose Mask - Black Widow (8 count) - These are exactly like the previous ones except these are featured Black Widow’s belt on the actual nose strip. They are fun to use and I definitely would repurchase them!

Smashbox Photo Finish Centering Citrus Primer Water (116 ml) - This is a great product but my only complaint is that I got tired of this particular scent after a while. I was happy when my bottle ran out. I like that the bottom part of the sprayer inside the bottle makes it so you are able to get out every last bit of product. A lot of my facial sprays, I have so much extra product stuck in the bottle that I can’t spray out which is a waste. This claims to be silicone, alcohol and oil-free. I would not repurchase this particular scent and I much prefer the original version. Also, this claims to be limited edition but it has been available online for such a long time.

Teeth
Crest 3D White Brilliance Daily Cleansing & Whitening System (Step 1 & 2) - This is a two step system where the first step is a fluroride toothpaste and the second step is a whitening gel. Each step ran out around the same time for me with the toothpaste lasting a little bit longer as it contains 85 ml of product and the whitening gel only contains 63 ml. It did not make my teeth sensitive at all and I only used this at night. This whitening system lasted me a long time and much longer than I thought! I did find my teeth to be whiter but I have to say that I miss using my whitening strips. This is a great alternative but I don’t know if I would repurchase it again.

Promo/Samples - Face
La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra-Fluid Lotion (3 ml) - I got a bunch of these as free samples from an event that I was at and I’m just working through my stash! This is very lightweight on the face and great for daily wear. I do like that it has an SPF of 60!

Derma-E Firming DMAE Moisturizer (3.5 g) - This is a sample that I actually received in the mail and it smelled just like lavender to me. I loved the consistency of the cream and this is meant for firming the skin. You can use it both in the morning as well as the evening. I definitely was a fan and would consider purchasing the full size.

Body
The Body Shop Hemp Heavy-Duty Moisture Protector (200 ml) - This was part of a gift from a friend and it worked especially well in the colder months. I used this over my entire body and it really did a great job at adding moisture to my skin. It doesn’t smell super pleasant but it certainly gets the job done and I’m a fan on the entire range!

Tea
Teapigs Peppermint Leaves Herbal Tea (15 tea temples) - This is great if you are into peppermint tea and is great if you are feeling under the weather or if you have an upset stomach then this should calm it down. The tea is very fresh and they use whole leaves. They are a Canadian company and the box is recyclable which are major pluses. The price of one box is $10 which is rather expensive but if you love great tasting tea, this is definitely for you!

Fragrance
MAC Crème D’Nude (1.5 ml x 2) - This scent reminds me exactly of Warm Vanilla Sugar at Bath & Body Works! It has a nice warm vanilla scent to it. There is also a lipstick with this exact name! They have about 6 fragrances inspired by their lipsticks. The full size is 50 ml for $67. I would say just buy the cheaper option at Bath & Body Works and save your coins because they smell the exact same!

Until next time,

April Empties | 2017

Hey everyone! My April Empties are here and I haven't used up as many products as I normally do, but I wanted to share them with you anyway!

Face
Fresh Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil (5 ml) - This oil came in the Fresh Skincare Power Players Set that I featured in my Sephora Black Friday Haul. This oil contains omegas: 3, 6, 7 & 9 and it made my skin incredibly soft. I really enjoyed using it and I would definitely purchase a larger sized bottle of it. I also featured this product in my March Favourites video.

Body
The Body Shop Passion Fruit Shower Gel (250 ml) - This is a soap-free cleanser with passion fruit extract. Unfortunately, I can no longer find it on their web site and that saddens me because this is my favourite scent! I featured this product in my post where I reviewed 5 Products from The Body Shop. I also included it in my post talking about my 7 Most Loved Products from The Body Shop.

Nest Fragrances - Indigo Eau De Parfum (5 ml) - I featured this in my Sephora Black Friday Haul and I really did enjoy trying this scent out! It is a warm scent that is rather unique as I can’t think of another scent that smells like it. There was another scent that someone had recommended to test out from Nest Fragrances called Midnight Fleur, but I still ended up liking this scent more! I also featured this scent in My Top 5 Current Favourite Fragrances | Affordable & High End

Johnson’s Baby Oil Gel Shea & Cocoa Butter (6.5 fl oz/192 ml) - I was going through my drawers and I honestly had forgotten that I even had it. This was definitely a rediscovery for me and I’m so glad that I did find it once again. This claims to ‘lock in up to 10 times more moisture’ and it made my skin baby soft. It helped eliminate dryness and I would typically use it right after I got out of the shower. I really liked using this product and I would buy it again in a heart beat! I bought mine in the USA and haven't seen this exact one in Canada.

Bath & Body Works
Georgia Peach Scentportable (6 ml/0.2 fl oz) - This is such a great scent and I also love Peach Bellini. This is great to put in your car during the warmer months! It doesn’t smell overly sweet either.

Hands
Origins Hand Lotion Trio in Bergamot & Ginger (1 fl oz/30 ml) - I absolutely love the scent of this hand lotion and it is great for both men as well as women. The ginger is not overpowering at all. It is great to carry in your purse or to take with you when your travel. I do not like the consistency of the formula because it is too liquid-y and not thick enough at all for my liking.

Teeth
Exact Dental Floss Picks (36 dental picks) - I have used these in the past and I really enjoy using them! They are mint flavoured and it helps me remove anything that may be stuck in between my teeth! These were on sale for around $1 and I would definitely repurchase them in the future because they did not break or snap on me while using them unlike some other brands that I have tried in the past.

Vitamins
Nature’s Bounty Multivitamin Adult Gummies (75 gummies) - I have been wanting to find some great multivitamins to take daily and these were just ok, but they weren’t my absolute favourite. They claim to help ‘maintain bone and immune function.’ You get three delicious flavours: orange cherry and grape. I took two gummies in the morning with my breakfast. I am still on the hunt for some and if you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments!

Nature’s Bounty Cod Liver Oil with Vitamins A & D (100 soft gels) - This claims to help ‘in the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.’ You take two of the soft gels daily and the pills are quite large so just a heads up. They aren’t overly fishy smelling like the other ones that I took in the past which I featured in my March Empties. Omega 3’s are great for those of you who suffer from inflammation in your joints and that’s what I was taking them for. I want to try a stronger dosage next time because I felt like these didn’t do much in terms of helping my inflammation.

Food/Drink
Four O’Clock Truffle Mint Tea (1 tea bag/2 g) - This tea was sent to me as a sample and this one was great! I loved the minty taste as it wasn’t overly minty and I drank mine black. It was very flavourful and fragrant therefore, it didn’t require any sugar. I found that there were some chocolate notes and after all, the word ‘truffle’ is in the name of the tea. This would be perfect to have in the fall and winter time. I would definitely purchase a box of this in the future!

Promo/Samples

Face
Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash (6 ml/0.2 fl oz) - I found that it had a gritty texture which I happen to like in a facial wash, and it made my skin feel very clean as well as soft afterwards. It can be used daily and I really enjoyed using it!

Body
Chloe Fleur De Parfum (1.2 ml) - The description reads: ‘A flower blend revealing a tender rose’s heart.’ The original Chloe perfume that I featured in my March Empties, smelled great on my friend but on me, it smelled matronly.

Teeth
Smile Brilliant Whitening Gel (1) & Desensitizing Gel (1) - If you are wondering how my teeth have been looking so white lately, I do owe it all to this wonderful product. Smile Brilliant makes a great system that I looked forward to using each night!

Until next time,
