2 Neutrogena Hydrogel Masks | Review

Hey everyone! I have been wanting to try these Neutrogena Hydrogel Masks out for quite some time and figured now is the perfect time! Let's see my thoughts on these two face masks from the drugstore!

Claims & Benefits
Both of these Neutrogena skin care products are hydrogel masks and are good for 1 use. The Hydro Boost Mask is hydrating is infused with hyaluronic acid. It instantly quenches skin, it deeply hydrates and leaves your skin supple as well as hydrated. The Deep Clean Mask has seaweed extract in the formula. It instantly refreshes and soothes your skin. It leaves the skin feeling purified and it gives a healthy-looking glow. Both masks are 30 grams, are non-comedogenic, gentle on the skin and the first ingredient on both packages is water.

Where To Buy, Types & Price
I purchased mine at Shoppers Drug Mart when they were having a promotion on skin care for only 3 hours. It was buy one get one free and during that time, one mask was on sale for $3.99 from their original price of $4.99. I paid $3.99 + tax in total which is a deal that you really can't beat. You can also find these at Wal-Mart or your local drugstore. There are 2 kinds in total which I have featured in this blog post for you.

Is It Worth It & Comparison To The Dr.Jart Hydrogel Mask?
I had seen Jackie Aina rave about these hydrogel masks and she even says that when she goes into the drugstore, she cleans them out! I figured that they must be good and when they had this promotion going on, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try them for an amazing price! I tried out the Hydro Boost Mask first and it is on the messier side as there was essence dripping on the counter. It comes in two pieces: one part for the top of your face and another for the bottom section of your face. It didn't feel like it was going to slip off my face when I walked from my vanity to my bed unlike other hydrogel masks that I've used in the past where you honestly can move at all because they will in-fact fall off. It felt great on and it was cooling. I would recommend applying this over a bathroom counter because it will drip and have a garbage ready because you need to peel off the white piece as well as some clear pieces. This particular mask is supposed to tie in with the rest of their Hydro Boost line which I already like and the scent is consistent throughout the items that I've already tried.

The
Deep Clean Mask had a different scent to it which was very pleasant, and I noticed that it was more cooling on the face than the other one. Also, there was much more extra essence left at the bottom of the packaging that I got multiple uses out of. I honestly like them both and can't choose a winner because they both tie for first place! I would repurchase either of these in a heartbeat and I encourage you to stock up on them when they do go on sale! Also, I do have an entire review on the Dr.Jart+ Brightening Infusion Hydrogel Mask that retails at Sephora for $9 and honestly, I prefer the Neutrogena ones more. They are: more affordable, they fit better on my face, you don't have to leave them on as long and these ones do not feel like they are going to slip off my face unlike the ones from Dr.Jart.

Quick Tip: I actually put the flap for the mouth area which is found on the bottom part of the mask, over my lips and left that on as a lip mask for 15-20 minutes. It's honestly a 2-in-1 and you can even close your eyes and leave the eye covers over your eyes as you relax on the couch.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY
