Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator & New Skin Amplifying Moisturizer | Review

Hey everyone! These two skincare products are from Vasanti that I received  when I went to the Chick Advisor Spring Cleaning Event. I have heard quite a bit about the brand but never tried any of their products until now. Let's see what my first impressions are!

Brand Overview

Vasanti is a Canadian company that is female owned. They want to offer products that are easy to use and simple to choose whether it be makeup or skincare. Vasanti means 'of spring' in Sanskrit and their products bring radiance to the skin through various formulations that are packaged beautifully for the consumer. They do not test on animals, their products are both paraben free as well as sulfate free.

Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator

This is an exfoliating cleanser that is enriched with papaya, micro crystals and aloe. It is a triple action formula there the papaya enzymes gives radiance to the skin, the micro crystals are dermatologist grade which help to exfoliate the skin and the aloe vera, coconut and pantheon helps to gently cleanse the skin. It claims to dramatically improve the texture of skin which will reveal softer, brighter, younger looking skin. It uses 99% natural ingredients and it mimics professional microdermabrasion results. It is vegan friendly and it does not contain any plastic beads. I have been using this for the past few days and I really like it! The texture of the exfoliator is perfect as it is not too abrasive yet it still feels like the product is working on the skin. There is a very light scent which is very pleasant. Also, a little bit goes a long way and I use it about 1-3 times a week. It's perfect to use right before I apply my makeup so everything goes on smoothly and there is no flaky patches. This would also be great to use in the winter months as our skin tends to get more dry from the cold weather.

 ​Brighten Up! New Skin Amplifying Moisturizer

This daily moisturizer is enriched with vitamin C, bearberry leaves and aloe. This product is designed to amplify the benefits that you get from exfoliation by nourishing your skin with the super-targeted actives and antioxidants to give you a brighter, younger looking face. It is: lightweight, non-greasy, lasts all day and provides lots of hydration. It also claims to refresh the skin and that it adds instant luminosity. It helps to brighten, smooth and even out skin tone with some anti-aging ingredients. Again a little goes a long way and this is suited for all skin types. This product is 98% natural and it is vegan. This is a great product to use in the summer because it is lightweight and it has a nice light scent to it. It mixed well with my sunscreen and sat nicely under makeup. I have no complaints!

Final Thoughts

I honestly enjoyed using both products but if I were to pick a favourite, it would probably have to be the Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. I like that it cleanses and exfoliates your skin using 1 product so right away, that eliminates me having to reach for another product as this is a 2-in-1. I really like what this company is about and their message as well as their goals. I plan to support them and I'm happy that I finally had a chance to try out their products!  You can find their products at The Beauty Boutique or on their online website.
