Project Pan 10 | Round 15

Hey everyone! I went through 10 makeup items and wanted to give you my thoughts on each one!

The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm (10 ml) - This is the old packaging and it just sat unused in my collection for awhile. I didn’t care for this lip balm as I felt that it just sat on my lips, absorbed too quickly and didn’t really hydrate them. The strawberry scent is very artificial and I’m glad to finally move this out of my collection!

ELF Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15 in Nice & Natural (0.26 oz) - I found this in my collection and wanted to finish it up. I had this for several years and ELF no longer makes this product. I like that there is an SPF and it is a nice nude tinted shade. I would bring this to the beach with me and it’s especially great to use in the summer months.

Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation in #010 Light Beige (30 ml) - I originally bought mine at Ulta in the USA, but it is now sold at Shoppers Drug Mart and they had added new shades to the range. I did really like the coverage and the applicator was a dropper. It claims to mattify the skin and that it is like a second skin effect. It also claims to last up to 24 hours which I did not test out. It did last 12-16 on me before I washed it off. I did really enjoy using it and it is affordable. I still think that they should continue to extend their shade range.

NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel (9 g) - This eyebrow gel wasn’t my favourite. The top of the packaging broke off that connected the wand with the spool to the outside packaging. The cap originally started to crack then it totally fell off. The formula also sometimes left a white flaky mess on my eyebrows. This is the old packaging and I do have an entire blog post on this product.

Essence I Heart Extreme Crazy Volume Mascara (12 ml) - I much prefer the Lash Princess Mascara over this one. I found it to only do a good job at separating my lashes. It didn’t really give my lashes too much volume. There’s better mascaras out there.

It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara (9 ml) - This is hands down my favourite mascara! It gives my lashes both length as well as volume. Not many mascara can do that for my straight, sparse and long lashes. I have had this open for too long and that’s the only reason why I’m getting rid of this mascara tube.

Bourjois Eye Catching Extreme Volume Mascara in Extreme Black (6 ml) - I am pretty sure that this mascara has been discontinued as I can't find it anywhere. I liked how black it was and it definitely did give my lashes more volume. I don't have anything bad to say about it!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara (3 g) - I have used this mascara in the past and I'm definitely a fan of it! It does a great job at separating my lashes and adds a curl without even needing to curl my lashes. It also lengthens then. This is one of my favourite mascaras!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown (4 g) - I’m only getting rid of this product because it dried out on me because I’ve had it way too long in my collection. I really enjoyed using this product for my eyebrows. They lasted all day and there was a bit of a learning curve with this product. The shade was just right for me.

It Cosmetics Build-A-Brow in Dark Brown (3.5 g) - This product helps your achieve getting natural looking brows and it is easy to use. It was creamy and matched me well. Mine did dry out on me because I had it for many years. I preferred this over the Dipbrow actually.

Project 10 Pan | Round 13

Hey everyone! I have put myself on a low-buy and have really been concentrated on using up some of my products in my collection! Here's what I managed to finish-up so far!
Becca First Light Priming Filter (15 ml) - This was just alright in my opinion and I honestly bought it because it was purple. It claims to prep and perfects the complexion. It goes on purple but it ends up being sheer on the skin. I have oily skin and it honestly wasn’t too ideal for my skin type. I wouldn’t purchase a larger version of this product but I don’t regret trying it.

Make Up Forever HD Powder (4 g) - Not a great product as there was so much flashback in photos and my under eye area looked so cakey. You could see all my fine lines around my eyes and I disliked the sifter. I ended up removing it completely as it was so hard to get product out of the container.

Morphe Continuous Setting Mist (2.8 oz) - I wanted to try this product out to see if it’s really worth the hype as many beauty influencers speak highly of this setting mist. I honestly really enjoyed using it and I bought the last of the bunch when I was in-store at Sephora. It sprays finely and it almost reminds me of a hairspray bottle. It has lasted me longer than I expected and I tend to always reach for it when I am applying my makeup. I would say that it is worth the hype but it tends to sell out fast in-store and online so get it while you can!

Colourpop No Filter Concealer in Fair #04 (0.176 oz) - I have heard this concealer being talked about for such a long time that I finally decided to purchase it to try-out. I have to say that I was very impressed and really enjoyed using it. The shade is great - not too pink or yellow of an undertone. I did go through it rather quickly because you only get a small amount of product inside the tube but it is very affordable after all. I would repurchase it and would say that it performs well on the skin without oxidizing.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Light Neutral (10 ml) - I actually thought that it lived up to it’s hype and it covered my freckles well. You get a lot of product and even though it is more expensive, I thought that this was worth it. I lived the formula and this tube lasted me quite a long time. I began scraping the sides and mine is drying out so I am in need of a new one. Also, I would get a lighter shade as this one is a little bit too dark on me but the undertone works just fine. I did manage to remove the stopper from this concealer and there was a ton of product that was left behind! This is my first time trying this and I’d only consider removing the stopper for my more expensive items.

Baxter Hydro Salve Lip Balm (4 g) - I actually got this on the plane in the little travel pouch when I flew premium economy. I really like the lip balm and it is formulated with Shea butter as well as vitamin E. My lips felt soft after using it and I’m sad to be out of it. It is fragrance free and made in California.

Burt’s Bees Nourishing Mascara in Classic Black (11.5 g) - Upon first glance, I actually thought this mascara was going to be brown. I was wrong (luckily,) and overall thought this was a basic mascara. It is expensive for being sold at the drugstore as it retails at Wal Mart for $14 and it comes in only two colours. I found that it separated and lengthened my lashes well but it didn’t do too much when it comes to volume. It claims to be 100% natural but I wouldn’t purchase it myself and the wand is plastic. I did feature this in my Glamour Voxbox | Review & Unboxing

Benefit They’re Real (3 g) - I received a sample size in the mail and I have used this mascara in the past. I really like it for length and separating the lashes. Not so much for volume but it makes my lashes super dark which I love. The full size retails for $33 at Sephora and it’s probably one of the best mascaras out there.

Clinique High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara in #01 Black (4 ml) - I purchased this mini at the Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale for $4. I did think that it was hard to remove compared to other mascaras that I have used in the past and this isn’t even waterproof to my knowledge. It claims to be a mousse-like formula and I disagree with it. It also claims that it doesn’t flake which is definitely not true. It didn’t do much for my lashes and I wouldn’t recommend it as my lashes felt crunchy whenever I didn’t layer it with another mascara.

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara (12 ml) - This mascara has been talked about for such a long time and it is only $5 so I wanted to try it out. The formula is on the drier side which I prefer and it is less of a wet formula. It more so lengthened my lashes and didn’t give them a ton of volume. It is a great affordable option and I like how black it is. I would repurchase this in the future.

Project Pan | Round 12

Hey everyone! I have been working on finishing up some of these items for quite some time so let's see my thoughts on each product!
GLAMGLOW GLOWSETTER Makeup Setting Spray (28 ml) - I have heard so many YouTubers talk about this setting spray and wanted to try it out for myself. The mist is very fine and it smells like a sweet, fruity candy which is rather nice. I really enjoyed using it to lock in all my makeup and I have purchased the full size which is $40. The travel sized version is $20.
Update: The full size is now $42 and the smaller one is $21.

Smashbox Primer Oil (4 ml) - I got this as a sample that came with my Sephora order and even though I have oily skin, I loved this product! I did feel that it helped me from being super oily throughout the day and it made my makeup lay on smoothly. I really enjoyed using it and I have so many other primers to go through otherwise, I’d purchase the full sized version!

Wet N Wild Photofocus Foundation in Soft Ivory (30 ml) - This foundation was hyped up for quite some time and although I did enjoy using it, it isn’t one of my favourites as I prefer something more full coverage. I did like the applicator because it allowed me to scrape the sides of the bottle with it. You get a standard fluid once and it is very affordable. I do have an entire dedicated review on this foundation that you can check out!

Buxom Lipstick in Swinger - I got this in a set from Sephora a little while ago. I don’t think that they make this specific type of lipstick anymore actually. The colour is a pink/purple which I wore with a lip liner as my every day lipstick. I like the formula and this sample lasted me quite a while!

Colourpop Lippie Pencil in Lumière (1.0 g) - This shade was made by Kathleen Lights and it is described as a dusty mauve pink which is a great every day shade. I like their Lippie Pencils because they are creamy and glide onto the lips easily. I don’t like that the cap tends to fall off, the font on the packaging usually fades and the product towards the end usually falls out of the outer packaging. Regardless, I do like their lip liners!

Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia (19 ml) - I really enjoyed using this product and the scent was subtle yet really nice! The formula was great but I’m pretty sure that this product has been discontinued because I can’t seem to find any working links on where you can purchase this. I also went through the Rosé lip butter in the past which was amazing too!

Soft Lips Lip Protectant in Vanilla (2 g) - I felt as there was barely any product inside the tube and most of the design as well as the text faded. You also have to be mindful because there is an expiration date on the bottom of this product but it did rub off. The actual formula itself felt like it just sat on top of my lips, didn’t really moisturize them and I was frequently reapplying it which led me to use it up very quickly. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

LaNeige Lip Sleeping Mask (3 g) - I actually received this in my Glamour VoxBox a few months back. The scent reminds me of Starburst specifically but candy in general. This did a great job at moisturizing my lips and I’m a big fan of LaNeige products in general. I tend to apply it before my makeup application and before I go to sleep! I have really been wanting to try the Apple Lime which is limited edition!

MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash I received a sample of this mascara and it worked pretty well. I was on the MAC website and had read several people saying that the full size version simply isn’t the same due to the brush. It makes your lashes clumpy and it doesn’t curl the lashes. I will not be purchasing the larger size due to the reviews that I have read.

COVERGIRL Lash Blast Volume Mascara (10 ml) - This mascara was just okay and didn’t give my lashes a ton of volume. They did a great job at separating them though but I noticed the formula is on the dry side. This one is not the waterproof formula. I read some reviews and many people are commenting that they have changed the formula. I haven’t tried it before in the past so I have nothing to compare it to. This isn’t one of my favourite mascaras though but it wasn’t terrible.

Project 10 Pan | Round 11

Hey everyone! Happy New Year and welcome to another round of Project 10 Pan where I show you 10 products that I have completely used up! I did use up a lot of face products this time around so let's see which products worked for me and which ones didn't!
PÜR No Filter Blurring Photography Primer (15 ml) - I used this under my foundation as a primer. My skin is very oily and even while using this primer as well as setting the primer immediately with a layer of powder, it didn’t control my oils. I know this is not what it is meant for but I also feel like 15 ml of primer is not enough. The dropper at the very top also broke off the packaging early on which was annoying. I wouldn’t use it again but you can check out my review to learn more about this primer.

Marcelle BB Cream Skin Enhancer in Fair (1.5 oz/45 ml) - This is definitely a BB Cream where you you pay a bit more and get your money’s worth! This is 15 ml above a standard bottle of foundation and this lasted me such a long time! I love that it comes with a pump because I was able to squeeze every last bit out. I mixed this BB Cream with my foundation and wore it to work each day. This is one of the better BB Creams that I have tried! I purchased mine from Shopper’s Drug Mart Beauty Boutique online and there are different BB Creams from Marcelle that are available. I do have an entire dedicated review on this BB Cream.

COVERGIRL TRUBLEND Matte Made Foundation in L30 Golden Ivory (30 ml) - I originally had a hard time picking out my shade because I felt that Wal Mart didn’t stock all of the 40 shades. I was between two but went with this one because it was my correct undertone. This is more of a medium coverage foundation that has a thicker formula. I do like it but my only problem is that because it is so thick, even when I turn the bottle upside down, there is still a ton of product at the bottom that doesn’t come up to the neck of the bottle. The pump doesn’t reach the foundation at the bottle so I have been scraping the sides of the bottle with the pump, but that is annoying and I feel as though you need a beauty spatula to get all of the product out. I ended up getting frustrated and scraped what I could out and started using another foundation. Make sure to check out my in-depth review, wear test and first impressions on this foundation.

Essence All About Matt! Fixing Compact Powder (0.28 oz/8.0 g) - I have come to the conclusion that I just don’t like this powder. It did not control my oils throughout the day when I powder before and after my foundation. The white powder was far too white and I don’t believe this is for all skin tones. Yes, it is affordable as I paid $5 for it but rightly so as the compact as well as the powder both broke on me. I would not repurchase it nor recommend it to anyone and you can read more in my Essence Makeup Review & Swatches post.

Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray | Oil Control (118 ml) - This is a great spray that really locks in your makeup throughout the day. It has a fine mist, it is oil-free and paraben-free. I felt that it did help my makeup last longer throughout the day! I do have a blog post called Battle of The Setting Sprays that you can read more on this finishing spray!

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara (9 ml) - I had heard a lot about this mascara and just figured that it was another over-hyped mascara. I decided that it was talked about for good reason because this is actually my favourite mascara! The wand is great and it gives me both volume as well as length which is hard to find in a mascara. The only downfall is that this mascara can get messy and product tends to get in the middle part where the wand separates from the tube. I found myself constantly wiping it down and storing it away from my other makeup. That doesn’t bother me because the mascara performs phenomenally! Check out my IT Cosmetics | Skin Care & Makeup | 6 Reviews post to learn more about my favourite mascara!

MAC False Lashes Mascara The formula has a mousse-like formula that helps to push up the lashes to give them maximum volume. I still had to curl my lashes and it did help in terms of giving my lashes more volume. Not sure if I can see myself spending $30 on this mascara but it did the job and I like the inverted cone shaped applicator.

Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara I did enjoy using this mascara and it gave my lashes length more so than volume. I’m a fan of the wand and the colour is a nice rich black shade. I do like the black and gold packaging. The full size retails for $30 at Sephora and it did not flake on me throughout the day. It is formulated without: parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, triclosan and gluten.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in Nude This is a creamy liner that lasted me a long time! You just have to be careful when sharpening because it is on the softer side as it glides on. I would repurchase this in a heartbeat!

Palmer’s Swivel Stick (14 g) - My friend picked me up 2 of these when she was in New York as they are significantly cheaper at the Walmart in the States than here in Canada. I have used at least 3-4 of these and although many people tease me that this looks like I am applying a glue stick on my lips, nothing works better. This moisturizes like no other and I even apply this on my knuckles as well as elbows when they are super dry. I will continue to purchase this for many years to come and have already been using my new tube!

Project 10 Pan | Round 10

Hey everyone! It's time for another round of makeup empties with a mini review on each item!

MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base (6 ml) -
I actually received this with my order as a sample to try and honestly, I don’t feel like this did anything out of the ordinary to my skin. It was just a regular face primer that did what it was supposed to do. It did not irritate my skin and if you’re wondering, it comes out white in colour. It is not sticky and it feels almost like a lotion consistency on your face.

MAC Strobe Cream (6 ml) - I know that there’s different ways to use this product but I mainly used it as a primer underneath my foundation and concealer. I thought that it was an interesting product that did its job but I’m not running out to the store to purchase it anytime soon.

Urban Decay B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray (30 ml) - I honestly didn’t feel like this did anything to my face and I would spray it either before or after my primer. The sprayer was just okay and I did not understand why there was a double cap. This is the old packaging and I do have an entire dedicated review on it. I originally did pick this up at the L’Oreal Warehouse Sale for $10.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define in C1 (4 g) - This concealer was supposed to be a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and it is definitely a more affordable option but you are getting less than half the product of the more expensive concealer. I really enjoyed using this concealer and I have no negative aspects to point out! I would repurchase this again from Ulta in a heartbeat! I have an entire dedicated review on this product that you are welcome to check out and I originally featured this in my Buffalo Shopping Haul | 2018.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in #103 True Ivory (30 ml) - When I looked online, it was in different packaging but not available online at many retailers. Anyway, I didn’t care for this foundation honestly and I found the consistency to be heavy although the packaging says that it is lightweight. It also says that it delivers shine control which I disagree with because I have combo/oily skin with a very oily t-zone and I was always shiny when wearing this foundation! Overall, this foundation didn’t impress me and I wouldn’t repurchase. If you want a more in-depth review, check out my Review on 3 Drugstore Foundations blog post!

Full Brow - Brow Wax (1.2 g) - This lasted me quite a long time and I used it every single day. I used my fingers to apply this directly onto my eyebrows and even on their website, it suggests people to use their fingers to apply the product as the warmth of their fingers melts the product into the skin. It’s clear and I did not find this to be a sticky product. They formulate it with castor oil that helps to nourish and condition the brows. I really enjoyed using this product and would gladly use it again in the future!

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in Prenup (4.2 g/0.15 oz) - I am not much of a blush person, but this shade is gorgeous for every day wear. It’s not too bright and it’s described as a mid-tone pale pink. Mine actually dried out but I enjoyed using it while it lasted and I made a solid dent in it! This does have almost a wet feel to it like their Super Shock Shadows which is a formula that I really enjoy!

Colourpop Lippie Pencil in Bound (1.0 g) - I checked on the Colourpop website and I can't find this shade online anymore. This is a great every day colour that is almost like a dusty nude pink on the lips. The description of the Lippie Stix is not accurate in my opinion and the shade is darker in person as far as the lip liner goes.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Knockout Defining Lift and Fan Mascara in #01 Black (2.8 ml) -This was a pretty good mascara! I applied it onto my lower lashes and it did not transfer off throughout the day! This is a plastic wand and the wand ensures that every lash is evenly coated which I appreciate. It was easier to get into the inner corners and outer corners. It lifted my lashes to a certain extent and it didn’t really fan out my lashes too much. My lashes were not super clumpy and I would use this mascara again in the future!

MAC False Lashes in Extreme Black The applicator resembles an inverted cone and I found that this mascara didn’t do anything out of the ordinary to my lashes. They did the job and nothing more. I did like that it was a very black mascara and it claims that it pushes up lashes for maximum volume. I still had to curl my lashes and didn’t really lift them much. It also claims to be a mousse-like formula that I didn’t really make a huge difference.

Project 10 Pan | Round 9

Hey everyone! It's time for another Project Pan post where I show you 10 makeup items that I have used up recently!

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation in 20 Classic Ivory (30 ml) - I actually purchased this at the L’Oreal Warehouse Sale and I have to say that I was impressed with this foundation. It is a great drugstore foundation, it didn’t look cakey on my face. It matched me well and worked for my oily skin. I definitely want to try-out the concealer in the same range!
Update: I think this has been discontinued.

Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Luminous Foundation in 01 Bisque (17 ml) - I wasn’t a fan of this mascara for several reasons. It smelled strange, there is barely any product inside the bottle and the formula doesn’t work on my skin type as it looks way too greasy on my skin when wearing it alone. I do have an entire review on this foundation and the only good thing I can think of is that it comes with a pump.
Update: Target no longer carries this brand of makeup.

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer in #302 Light (20 ml) - I actually purchased this from the L’Oreal Warehouse Sale and when I finally came across this product in the shade light, I snatched it up! You actually get quite a lot of product in this tube considering that it’s a concealer, but the down side is that they repackaged it and you only get 1.5 ml of product in the tube now. It also creased on me throughout the day hence why I featured it in my Disappointing Products | Volume 1 post. I even tried using this as a foundation which I much preferred!
Update: Pretty sure that this has been discontinued.

The Body Shop Make-Up Setting Spray (60 ml) - I purchase this online when The Body Shop was having a 40% off sale with no minimum purchase required for free shipping. My order glitched and I actually got charged twice for two bottles which isn’t a big deal to me because I know that I’ll go through them. This was just alright and didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. It didn’t stand out from the rest and was just an average setting spray as it did what it was supposed to do which is set makeup. You can check out my dedicated review on this setting spray.

Rimmel Super Curler 24 Hour Mascara (12 ml) - I do have an entire review on this particular mascara and I decided to give it another chance. This is my second tube of it and it will definitely be my last. The wand is too big for my small eyes, I still had to go in with an eyelash curler and it just wasn’t for me.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Mascara in 01 Extreme Black (2.8 ml) -I didn’t like using this mascara as it is clumpy on my lashes no matter how I try to apply it. The wand is too large and thick for my small eyes. I have no interest in repurchasing this mascara nor using it again. It also smudges on me which is another downfall. The only upside is that I purchased this from the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale for only $4.

Sephora Collection Lash Craft Big Volume Mascara (5 g) - I remember redeeming 100 of my points on the Sephora web site to get this in my online order as a point perk. At first I did not like this mascara, but the more I used it, the more I liked it. The wand is a little big for my small eyes but it definitely gives them volume and I really like how intense this shade of black appears on my lashes. The brush is curved and I do like the packaging. There is also jojoba seed oil which is nourishing for the lashes and helps prevent clumping as well as flaking. It retails for $18 for the full size version as mine is just the deluxe mini.

MAC Zoom Lash Mascara (4 g) - I went on a Google search as I no longer seen this mascara on the MAC website. My assumptions were correct and this mascara has been discontinued and apparently, the False Lashes Extreme Black Mascara is the alternative for this one. I enjoyed the thinner wand to evenly coat and separate my lashes. It also made doing bottom mascara a lot easier! I picked up a deluxe sample size up for $4 at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale in the Fall.

MAC Lipstick in Myth (3 g) - This has been a cult favourite for many years now and it is described as a light neutral nude. This is a satin formula and it very comfortable to wear on the lips. I do swatch this for you in my MAC Lipstick Collection & Swatches post that you can check out!

Marc Jacobs Lip Crème in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (1.0 g) - I received this from Sephora as the 2016 Birthday Gift that also came with a black travel mini gel eyeliner. This is described as a baked rose shade and the colour is a little deeper but goes with so many different outfits as it is pretty versatile. I really like the formula as it is very comfortable on the lips and the full size retails for $38 online. There are about 29+ shades to choose from.
Update: The full size retails for $42.

Project 10 Pan - Round 8

Hey everyone! I have gone through a few more makeup items and I wanted to share with you which products that are no longer in my collection!

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination in Tan It is definitely a full coverage concealer that claims to be waterproof as well as having anti-aging properties to it. I thought it worked well however, it isn’t my favourite concealer. This shade definitely is a lot lighter than other tan shades from different brands so definitely keep that in mind when you are purchasing this product. I do have an entire review on this particular product.

ELF Makeup Mist & Set (x2) - This is a holy grail product for me and there is no surprise here that I have gone through yet another bottle. I use it to help prime and set my makeup. I traveled with one bottle so much and used it so frequently that the entire label has actually rubbed off!

ELF Poreless Face Primer - This really isn't my favourite face primer and I featured it in my haul video. This doesn't do what I want a primer to do for my skin and this is a hard pass for me.

Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara in Jumbo Jet I purchased this at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale and I honestly didn’t expect to like it as much as I did! The wand is perfect for separating your lashes and lengthening them. It is definitely a chubby wand that is straight and I reached for it every single day!

Revlon Mega Multiplier Mascara in Blackest Black This is an amazing mascara and it gives my lashes a lot of length! I love the fibres in the formula and it is very easy to wash off at the end of the night. I do have an entire dedicated review for this product and it is definitely one of my favourite affordable drugstore mascaras currently.

MAC Studio Careblend Pressed Powder in Light I purchased this from the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale and it is all-around a great powder! It doesn’t look too powdery on the face, it doesn’t fell heavy and this was a great shade match for me. I will be doing a Back To Mac on this compact.
Edit: This exact item has been discontinued.

Vaseline Lip Therapy in Rosy Lips - I have mentioned this product several times and it is in my top 5 lip balms of all time. I even featured it in my 5 Winter Skin Care Essentials post. I definitely recommend this as it is: accessible, affordable (often times I see it on sale,) it comes in different scents and you can even purchase it at various grocery stores! It also slightly tints your lips to give them some colour which I absolutely love!

Colourpop Lippie Pencil in Brink I love this shade so much and it is a great every shade to wear. It is a ‘your lips but better’ shade that is very close to my natural lip colour. Despite the packaging getting very messy and constantly having to sharpen it, the formula is very creamy. It is very affordable and I would repurchase this in a heartbeat.

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Wisp This was my go-to highlighter for many months. I really liked it that much more when I found out the perfect way to apply it (that being with a makeup sponge.) My face was always glowing with this highlighter and I am proud to say that I have 3 other ColourPop highlighters in my stash now that I can rotate through! I do have a haul where I swatched this shade as well as an entire video on 30+ Colourpop Swatches.

I hope that everyone had an amazing Halloween and here is the aftermath of our Jack-O-Lantern that we carved for Halloween!

Project 10 Pan - Round 7

Hey everyone! It is time for another Project 10 post! Here are 10 items that I have completely used up and my thoughts on each one!

Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner (3 ml) - I actually received this awhile back in my Sephora Mystery Bag and I have recently been using this at night before I go to bed. This worked best after I exfoliated my lips at night and then went in with this lip conditioner to add the moisture back into my lips while I slept. I like the rose scent and how there is a slight rose tint to the lip conditioner. It is a little bit tacky and more on the sticky side so just a heads up if that isn’t your thing. I did enjoy using it but I’m not sold on purchasing the full sized yet which used to retail for $32 CAD for 10 ml on the Sephora web site 3-4 years ago and now it sells for $40.

Makeup Forever Excessive Lash Mascara I believe that I redeemed my points on the Sephora website for this mascara and that it was a 100 point perk. I did enjoy using this mascara and the wand was great! I like the packaging and the formula of the mascara was more on the dry side which I definitely love! It did a great job of coating my lashes as well as separating them. It definitely lengthened them but didn’t add too much volume which is fine because I typically layer my mascaras anyway.

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Black Brown (Curved Brush) - This mascara gets spoken about all the time and I honestly didn’t feel like it lived up to it’s expectations. This is a mediocre mascara and it definitely isn’t one of my favourites. I feel like I would want to try the one with the straight brush in a deeper shade to really form a well rounded opinion on it overall.

COVERGIRL So Lashy! Mascara When I was first researching all the claims and features of this product, I thought that it sounded great! I did enjoy using it at first but as time wore on, I didn’t care for it for several reasons. The ball can get in the way of my mascara application because I have small eyes. I also seen that product would clump up on it and that was annoying because it often times, would lead to messy application. I wouldn’t reuse this mascara again unless I had to and I have seen more mascaras on the market that are following suit with the ball on the mascara wand. This is the old packaging.

COVERGIRL truBlend Liquid Makeup in l5 Creamy Natural (30 ml) - This foundation isn’t one of my favourites and I could use a lighter shade right now. The formula isn’t the most lightweight and you have to be careful of how you apply it because it can look cakey on the skin. There is a great shade selection however, and they cater to different skin tones as well as different undertones. I do like that it comes with a pump because I hate pouring out foundation onto my hand or onto a mixing tray. This is the old packaging.

Maybelline FIT ME Concealer in 15 Fair (0.23 fl oz/6.8 ml) - I have heard so many people rave about this concealer and to me, it was just mediocre. It definitely wasn’t my favourite concealer because I like a concealer with more coverage than this one. I wouldn’t repurchase because it didn’t win me over.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter I received a deluxe sample of this from Sephora when I entered in a promotional code. This is a great high-end primer as it retails for $46 CAD on the Sephora web site. I want to also try the purple primer that Becca launched recently as it is great for dull skin and adds moisture as well as luminosity to the skin!

Urban Decay All Nighter Longwear Liquid Foundation in 3.0 (30 ml) This foundation does oxidize and that is why I got 1-2 shades lighter than I normally would. I love that it is full-coverage as well as waterproof and it did not make me break out. I noticed that the shelf life is only 6 months on this foundation which is extremely short as my other foundations have the open container symbol with 12 months written on it. This foundation is on the more expensive side but I did enjoy using it and the gunmetal packaging with the pump was stunning! I do want to try cheaper alternatives to this foundation and also try-out the Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation before I consider repurchasing this.

ELF Makeup Mist & Set (2.02 fl oz/60 ml) - I have gone through probably a dozen or so of these and this is my holy grail makeup spray. I use it before and after my makeup. This is extremely affordable and I can’t give enough praise to this product!

EOS Lip Balm in Strawberry Sorbet This product just sits on my lips and doesn’t moisturize them well enough. I find myself constantly reapplying it and the shape makes it awkward to put in my pocket. Not a fan of it.
