Sephora Algae Face Mask Review

Hey everyone! Let's see how the Sephora Algae Sheet Mask performed on my skin!

Claims/Features

The Algae Sheet Mask is for purifying and detoxifying the skin. It is enriched with algae extract and it helps get rid of impurities that cause dullness. It delivers a fresh, radiant complexion to the skin. It claims to be easy to use and you will want to leave it on for 15 minutes. There are no parabens contained in this product, it has been dermatologically tested and it is not tested on animals. It also received great reviews on the Sephora site!

Price, Selection & Size

These retail for $7/per sheet mask on the Sephora website and there are many different varieties to choose from. It contains 22 g or 0.78 oz inside the package.

How It Performed

This is one of the better fitting sheet masks that I have ever used and if you need to quickly run to the other room, you won't have to worry about this one falling off your face. There is a pink film that you need to peel off and I assume that keeps the sheet mask neatly folded.

There was a cooling sensation on my face that felt nice and I left the mask on for a total of 15 minutes as the back of the packaging instructed. As always, I exfoliated my face prior to application and also made sure to tone my face. This sheet mask wasn't dripping in essence and it smelled great, but not too overpowering while on the skin. When I took off the mask, it was honestly so dry as my skin had drank up the essence. I have never pull off a sheet mask drier than this one but that is definitely a good thing! Overall, this is a great product for someone who loves sheet masks and is a nice way to treat your skin.

 Is It Worth The Money?

You know that I love my sheet masks from Korea and I get them for a really good price a few times a year where I definitely stock up. This mask is more expensive than the ones that I tend to purchase and overall, I would have to say that this mask won't replace those due to the cost but I will consider adding a few of the Sephora brand masks into the mix. Any sheet mask, you only get one use out of and then it's done.
