June Empties | 2020

Hey everyone! Let's take a look at all the products that I used up for the month of June!

 Face

Bioré The Original Deep Cleansing Pore Strips (14 count) - I love using Bioré nose strips and I usually pick mine up at Walmart. These are effective and are my go-to.

MAC Wipes (100 sheets) - This was my first time using these wipes are I really liked them! They are strong and durable. They get the job done without breaking and they smell great. I can see why makeup artists use these wipes! I definitely would repurchase them. They retail for $36 at MAC.

Hair

L’Oréal Nutri-Gloss Luminizer High Shine Glossing Mist (100 ml) - This did add some nice shine to my hair and it was easy to use. I got this at a warehouse sale and I noticed that I can no longer find a Canadian link for this product. I found one for the USA so I’m not sure if it going to be discontinued or not. I also noticed that towards the end of the bottle, it just stopped spraying so I had to unscrew it to get the last little bit out. 

Bath & Body Works

Car Fragrance Refill in Leaves (6 ml x 2) - I’m honestly just going through my stash and using whatever I have leftover from last year at this point. I really like leaves and it smelled great in my car even in the summer!

Body

Equate Triple Blade Disposable Razors (4) - This I get at Walmart and they did go up in price slightly but I still really like them. These are my go-to and I use each razor for about a month until I replace it. They work well and are super cost effective. 

Teeth

Ditto Soft Charcoal Toothbrush 2 Pack - I picked this up from Giant Tiger for just a few dollars. They worked well and the black bristles did not bleed black when wet. I did notice that some of the bristles started to fall out after using it for awhile but it performed well overall. I would definitely repurchase this again in the future. 

Vitamins/Supplements

Jamieson B12 5,000 mcg (45 sublingual tablets) - These are cherry flavoured and you put them under your tongue for them to dissolve. I really liked them and I did find that I had more energy throughout the day.

Coffee

Pilāo Tradicional (250 g) - I purchased this while in Brazil from a grocery store that was doing sampling. It has a nice strong taste and the bag that I got is ground. It was very cheap and I really enjoyed the taste of it!

Promo/Samples - Face

LaNeige Water Bank Moisture Cream (2 ml x 2) - I featured this in my May Empties post and I really enjoyed using this cream. It absorbs quickly into the skin, doesn’t feel sticky and it smells great! I’m definitely a fan of it and some of their other products that I’ve tried in the past!

LaNeige Water Sleeping Mask (4 ml x 1) - I got this at an event and really enjoy using this product at night. You apply it and let it absorb overnight while you sleep. Your skin will be super soft and moisturized in the morning. This claims to be for all skin types.

Body

Softsoap Pure Zen Relaxing Body Wash in Rose Water & Lotus Flower (443 ml) - This smelled great and did a great job! It was sudsy which I like and it lasted me a good amount of time. Notes include: rose, lotus flower, gardenia and jasmine. I got this for free at a convention but I would purchase it myself! I can't get the last little bit out.

Teeth

Colgate Total Advanced Professional Clean (18 ml) - I got a sample of this and wanted to use it up. This does a great job at cleaning your teeth and my teeth felt clean afterwards. It is super affordable and you can buy it at Walmart.

Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste in Clean Mint (20 ml) - This was a nice standard, basic toothpaste that got the job done. It wasn’t anything amazing and I got this as a sample.
