Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel Review

Hey everyone! I have been in the market for a new acne fighting product for some time now and decided to pick up the Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel. It had over 1000+ reviews on the Sephora website and I was intrigued to try it!

Claims & Benefits

This is a spot treatment product and you dab on a spot to your problem area. It will help to speed heal the desired area and there is technology to help correct post pimple darkening. The red algae and skin-calming caffeine helps with the irritating redness. This claims to help clear acne and it is a gel consistency. You can apply it 1-3 times a day and there is 1.50% of salicylic acid. This can be used on all skin types and it is free of: parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, GMOs, triclosan and phthalates.

 Where To Purchase, Price & Size

I purchased mine off the Sephora website but you can also find it in stores or at an Origins counter or on their website. You can purchase it for $22 and you are getting 10 ml of product. This isn't a bad price if you compare the price of other acne fighting products on the market. There is an expiration date on the bottom of the box so be mindful of that as some of the ingredients inside the formula will go bad at a certain point.
Update: It now retails for $24 at Sephora and this is the old packaging.

 Is It Worth The Money & Results

You only need to apply a little bit of product onto your problem area and this bottle should last me a few months. When I used this product on my pimple, I noticed after using it once that it dried out my pimple but it was still protruding outwards. On the second day, I applied it before I went to sleep and when I woke up, my pimple dried down a little bit more and it protruded less outwards. You definitely need to use this a few nights in a row and it isn't an immediate quick fix for your annoying pimples. This is not my favourite acne fighting product but it isn't a bad one. I am still in the market to find one that I can't live without!
