Pranava Beauty - Serenity Charity Bracelet by Carli Bybel

Hey everyone! Carli Bybel recently launched Pranava Beauty which is a website where you can see her latest projects as well as find out more about the WAH Foundation which I will expand on further down into the post. I am all about supporting a good cause and I definitely had to purchase the beautiful Serenity Charity Bracelet!

The Charity Bracelets
Carli came out with 4 gorgeous bracelets that all have a meaning behind them and each piece includes a real semi-precious stone. They are gold plated and they look great stacked (which you can see on Carli on the Pranava Beauty website.) They are limited edition and if you are thinking about getting one, I suggest that you do so before they are all gone! The best thing is that 100% of the profits will be donated to help bring girls to school in Cambodia and the goal is to raise $100,000 which she definitely surpassed!

Serenity
I chose Serenity after viewing all of the other bracelets for several reasons. Green is my absolute favourite colour and I was instantly drawn to the jade stone. I have taken this directly from the website and you can read more about it on Pranava Beauty: "It is a protective stone, which will keep the wearer from harm and brings harmony into your life. Jade brings good luck and friendship." That  definitely stood out to me and ultimately helped me make my decision. This bracelet will match just about every single outfit and the gold will really compliment a nice tan! It was also packaged well in a white branded box with some removable cushion for the bracelet.

Bracelet Details
I have very small wrists in general and most of the time, I cannot wear bangles because they will slide right off my wrist. This bracelet comes with a lobster clasp that helps you adjust the size of your bracelet to your liking. The bracelet measures 7" in length and has a 2" extender. This is a very well constructed piece and it is very delicate. This sits closer to my hand for the reason that I just mentioned and I do wear my bracelet on the first link which is the smallest that it can go. The Om symbol hangs down and it placed on a gold circle which is a stunning detail.

There is a rhinestone crystal beside the word 'serenity' and the brown fabric is braided into three appearing that it will not fray. There are 4 circular gold accents on either side of the jade stone which is a detail that I think is brilliant! Another great feature is that if you are wearing this bracelet either with a sweater or long sleeves, the links that drop down may get intertwined with the rest of the bracelet at the back but it actually looks fantastic like that! Some bracelets look messy or the wearer may get annoyed when that happens but in this case, it almost looks better that way! I don't know if that was done on purpose or if it was done without knowing, but it looks great either way!

Price & Shipping
Each one of her stunning bracelets retails for $20 USD. On the web site it says, "ships on or before March 27th." My shipping date was on April 6th, but that was fine with me. This is a new project for her and I honestly didn't mind waiting for my gorgeous bracelet to come in the mail. I placed my order on March 21st and I received my bracelet in the mail on April 13th. It took 22 days from when I placed my order until I actually received my bracelet in the mail so keep that in-mind when you are ordering. Especially if you plan on ordering a bracelet as a gift for a loved one.

If you are wondering how much shipping costs, it was $9.95 USD to ship from the USA to Canada. That is the international shipping cost and Pranava ships worldwide. If you live in the USA, then shipping will run you $4.95 USD. Overall, my total come to $29.95 USD and with the conversion rate, it ran me a total of $41.20 CAD. They ship from Los Angeles, California.

WAH Foundation & Pranava Beauty
Carli has been named the Global Ambassador for the WAH Foundation. She also launched the Carli Bybel Scholarship program which will send 120 girls to school in Cambodia which includes: books, tuition, housing and meals for 4 consecutive years. Even though she reached her goal, she still wants to help send as many girls as she can to school in Cambodia and will continue to do so as long as there is still stock available for her bracelets! She recently flew to Cambodia to deliver the check for $100,000 herself in person!

If you are wondering, Pranava means 'cosmic sound' in Sanskrit and is the name for the mantra Om. The great thing is that her products are 100% vegan and 100% gluten-free. She goes more into depth and elaborates more on her Youtube video titled, 'Big Announcement + New Product Launch!' that I have linked for you. She is definitely putting her platform to good use!
I have been watching and supporting Carli for many years. I purchased her first 14 Colour Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette that came out on BH Cosmetics web site that I have an entire review on. Right now, you can pre-order her new palette on the Pranava Beauty website which looks stunning with the marble detail! There are 21 eyeshadows and a gorgeous range of highlighters! Some of the shades are the same as the first palette and some are new. It retails for $19.50 USD and there is a limit of 2 for each customer.

Carli will definitely be coming out with future projects in the upcoming months and there is even a 'perfume' section on her web site that sounds very exciting. I absolutely love my Serenity Charity Bracelet and it is even more fulfilling to know that will my purchase, it has gone to an amazing cause helping a girl across the world in Cambodia, to be able to go to school!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY

ColourPop Cosmetics Haul & Swatches

Hey everyone! I recently placed my second order with ColourPop Cosmetics and wanted to share with you some of the items that I received in my package! I can't get enough of their hand written note!

They were nice enough to send me this complimentary Limited Edition Lippie Stix in the shade Poppin because they have reached 2 million ColourPopettes which is a huge milestone! It is very opaque and pigmented! I will definitely get some good use out of it in the upcoming Spring and Summer days! The only thing I must warn you about is removing it. It can be quite messy and you may need to rub the area a few times to fully get the product off.

I am also in need of a new nude lip liner because my current one is almost finished. I decided to purchase the Lippie Pencil in the shade Brink. I really like it and it is a nude/pink. It will be easy to match almost any lip colour to this lip pencil. The only thing I noticed about their Lippie Pencil packaging is that the cap comes off VERY EASILY. If you do decide to put this in your purse or your makeup bag, make sure you put the cap on very tightly before placing it inside.

I have been looking for the perfect brown lip colour for quite some time now and I think that I have finally found it! This is a Ultra Satin Lip product in the shade Mess Around. It applies very opaque and like the name suggests, it delivers a satin finish. It is not drying and feels very comfortable on the lips. I didn't notice much cracking when wearing it and it is long wearing but it is not completely kiss-proof.

My favourite product currently from them is...

The Super Shock Cheek Highlighter in Wisp! It is such a gorgeous colour that will look amazing with a tan! On the web site, it is described as a golden champagne colour which is my go-to for highlighters! It is a pearlized finish and the formula does feel a little bit "wet" just like the eyeshadows do. The only thing that I do not like is that there is a little gap between the lid and the actual packaging itself that houses the pan. It is very minor, but still bothers me.

The best thing about ColourPop is that they have a wide range of colours and shades that retail for a very affordable price point! They also offer a $5 off coupon on your first purchase when you subscribe to their newsletter which is amazing and can equal out to a free product!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.

Z Palette Comparison

Hey everyone!

Sephora
I love my Z Palettes and in case any of you were wondering, I recently bought the Baby size off the Sephora web site for $12 CAD. (The size I purchased at that price is not longer listed online, sorry!) It does come with magnets and a little "key" that can help you depot your eyeshadows or blushes. I personally don't use the "key" as I have my own method. There is a blog post of mine that you can check out that shows you step-by-step, how to depot your makeup. As you can tell by the picture, I fit 8 MAC eyeshadows in the Baby Palette and can only fit a couple more. There is a Double Sided Z Palette available online for $56 CAD but it is currently sold out. If my memory serves me right, I believe there was a third size offered on the Sephora web site that is no longer listed.

Z Palette
On the actual Z Palette web site, I usually buy the Large sized palettes when they are on promotion. Normally, they generally retail for $20 USD and they also come with the magnets. They do come out with limited edition packaging every so often and I love most of the fun designs! The shipping is what always gets me because it can be expensive, and that's why I chose to buy at Sephora the last time I needed one. I can fit a lot more shadows in the large size Z Palette and they are my favourite.

Overall
I would only buy the Sephora Baby size again if I want to take a compact palette with me when I travel, a palette that would fit in my purse or if I only had a few items to depot that I wanted in a smaller palette. As I get more MAC eyeshadow, I am going to have to upgrade to a larger palette. I will wait for the Z Palette web site to have a promotion on their Large Palettes again and I will stock up!

The Difference Between The Sizes (Z Palette Site):
The Mini Z Palette can be a great gift for someone if you are buying them 3 standard-sized round pans and need somewhere to house them in. That is how many the Mini size holds and it is such a space saver!

The Small Palette is not as wide as the Baby Palette on the Sephora web site and it can fit up to 9 standard-sized round pans.

The Medium Palette is great for when you don't want something too small but do not want to commit to the Large Palette quite yet. They made this size "extra-deep" like the Dome Palette to fit baked eyeshadows, mineralized blushes and brushes too.

The Large Palette "fits up to 28 standard-sized round pans." This is my favourite size and it doesn't take up too much room on a vanity.

The Extra Large Palette is great if you do work on set, if you are an MUA or just simply want multiple shades housed in one palette. It can "fit up to 35 standard-sized round pans."

The Dome Palette is great for eyeshadows that aren't as flat and have more height to them such as mineralized shadows, baked blushes and even brushes.

The Double-Sided Z Palette is great for organizing your makeup. You can potentially have one side with all eyeshadows and another side with all blushes. The best part is that both sides are clear so that you can easily see which items you have in there!

I hope this helps somebody out because I was unsure which size to order when I was browsing online and I am just making the smaller palettes work for now.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
