Tiffany Blue Nail Polish

Hey everyone! As some of you may already know, it is the 55 Year Anniversary of Breakfast At Tiffany's was originally released in October of 1961.

OPI just recently launched a collection that aligns with the upcoming holidays. There are 16 beautiful shades and you can purchase them at Ulta.

With that being said, I do have a Tiffany Blue coloured nail polish that I like very much by China Glaze.  My friend went to the store to purchase it in the past and she either purchased the last bottle or the second last bottle that they had in stock. It can be hard to come by, but I still wanted to show you and give you another (as well as cheaper,) alternative to the Tiffany Blue shade from OPI.

It is called 'For Audrey' and reminds me of a robin's egg blue type of colour. The purpose of this blog post is to give you an alternative to the Tiffany blue shade in the collection in-case you can't get your hands on it.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.

Buffalo Shopping Haul | 2016

Hey everyone! I went to Buffalo on Sunday and wanted to share with you what I bought! I purchased more smaller items rather than higher ticketed items because I didn't even expect to find anything that caught my eye!

My friend wanted to check out rue 21 and I had never been inside one of their stores so needless to say, I was excited to go in! There is a lot of merchandise in-store and we didn't have much time to browse. I just picked up whichever items I found to be interested or if I liked the packaging, I bought it because I am a sucker for cute packaging! The fuzzy heart shaped keychain was too adorable to pass-up and it is very soft! It will look perfect on my new grey purse once I finally begin using it! I wasn't a fan of the other similar keychains with faces on them.

I have no idea how well their brand of makeup wipes work but they were only $4 and it is easy to travel with or throw in my purse. I bought the bamboo earrings because they were 50% off and I only paid $2.50 for them! I used to have a much larger pair of these back in the day but they started turning green and I threw them out! These are my replacement for those and I hope that I don't have the same problem again. Lastly, you already know that I am obsessed with sheet masks lately and I purchased one of each kind that they had. I am excited to use them and I asked the sales associate about them but she said that she hadn't used them yet therefore, she couldn't speak to me about them. I will be sure to keep you posted though!

The brown purse is from Payless Shoes and it was on a sale rack right when I walked in. It said that it was 50% off which I assumed would be $15 from the original price of $30. When I got to the cash, she took an additional 50% off and I used a 20% off coupon leaving me to pay only $6.50 for this lovely purse!

The next stop was Love Culture inside Fashion Outlets. I was surprised to see them there because I remember shopping there a while back and I thought that they had closed. Anyway, regardless of the situation, I was glad to see them back again! I didn't want to try-on any of their cute clothes because like I had mentioned, we didn't have much time to spare and I focused mostly on accessories. I had been wanting a white hat like for quite some time and this one was only $6 and I couldn't pass that up! The gold spike necklace will be great for layering with other necklaces and was also $6. When I was checking out, I found a pack of my favourite hair ties for under $2 and had to add them to my basket!

Surprisingly, I only purchased a travel sized hand cream at ULTA because I knew that if I was left along in that store for more than 20 minutes, I could do some serious damage. I have heard nothing but good things about the Soap & Glory brand and decided to try-out their Hand Food Cream.

And then I stumbled across some interesting food items that I couldn't pass up!

There is a store I love going inside called It's Sugar which has such fun items that you really can't find anywhere else! I randomly found Pancake & Maple Syrup flavoured Jelly Bellies that I had to buy! I then went to Walgreens and found three bizarre yet interesting flavours of Pringles: Cheese Burger, Chile Con Queso & Tangy Buffalo Wing. The Cheese Burger Pringles actually taste like a legitimate cheese burger and the Chile Con Queso are my favourite out of the three! The Tangy Buffalo Wing are decent and are indeed tangy. Lastly, I can't go to Buffalo and not buy the pink frosted donuts from Dunkin Donuts! I purchased every single one that they had!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.

beautyblender pro VS. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Hey everyone! There is a lot of talk about makeup sponges in the beauty community and I wanted to compare both a more expensive makeup sponge to a less expensive one to see which one is better all around!

You can see that the beauty blender is slightly smaller than the Real Techniques makeup sponge. That gives you more control and precision when applying your makeup. I would say that the beauty blender is softer and more bouncy when dabbing out your product(s) on your face. I also felt that it gave me an overall more flawless finish after fully blending out all the products. It is also very easy to use and to clean.

The Real Techniques makeup sponge is dual ended and has one more pointed end as well as a more flat side. Due to its size and the fact that it holds more water, I was using more foundation as well as more product in general than when I would use the beauty blender. It also absorbs more water and is harder to clean than its competitor.

The Verdict
My vote for the winner of this showdown is hands down the beauty blender. It is worth the investment because you will most likely get your money's worth out of it and it is just so convenient to use! It has definitely saved me time when applying my makeup and I enjoy using it! Don't get me wrong though, the Real Techniques sponge is a great alternative for someone who is just started out with makeup or someone is on a budget. It can also be for someone who enjoys using the flat side to get in all those corners!

Makeup Sponge Gone Wrong!
I tried the Studio 35 makeup sponge from Walgreens a while ago and it was AWFUL! It was hard even after wetting it and squeezing all the water out. I tried it several times and could not get used to the rock hard texture of it. I ended up throwing it out and that sponge doesn't hold a candle in the wind to these two!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
