Sick Day Essentials

Hey everyone! It is that time of year again when everyone starts catching a cold and trying to get an appointment at your doctor's office can be quite the challenge. I want to share with you my essentials and go-to items that I must have when I am not feeling the greatest! 

Essentials:

- Emergen-C 

- LOTS OF WATER!

- Blanket

- Comfortable Clothes
- Cute Slippers

- Cough Candies (mine are from the Polish store)
- Extra Strength Tylenol

- Tea

- Kleenex

- Lip Balm

Don't forget to have your laptop and cell phone nearby to keep you entertained! Stay hydrated as much as you possibly can and soup can really help you out!

If you are reading this blog post and you are currently sick, I hope that you feel better soon! Give your body some much needed rest and there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Keep that Kleenex box nearby!

Christmas 2016 in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays Everyone! 

I went over to my cousin's house this year for Christmas where he and his lovely wife hosted Christmas. Their white tree was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious!

We first had some appetizers and drinks. We have Spinach Dip with Pumpernickel Bread every year as a tradition!

This dinner table was decorated very elegantly and we first started off with Butternut soup that was made with Coconut Milk! The crackers were almost too pretty to pull apart! I didn't take a picture of the turkey unfortunately because I was starving and ate my food rather quickly.

Right after the main course, we went straight in for dessert and as you can see, there was a wide variety of sweets to choose from! The picture below is the Clark Griswold Moose Mug that my Dad received as a present which is from the movie, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. There is a scene of him drinking from one in the movie. If you haven't seen it already, I highly recommend that you watch that movie because it is hilarious!

This is how the CN Tower in Toronto looks like at night time during the Holiday Season and I captured this shot when I was standing right at the bottom of it. I see the CN Tower so often that I don't usually take photos, but I wanted to show you in-case you haven't seen it before. They change the colours depending on different holidays or events that are happening in and around the city.
