Hey everyone! I had been seeing the Fourth Ray Beauty brand on the Colourpop website for quite some time and finally took the plunge to try out some of their items!
Fresh AF Mist (122.75 ml) - $8
Superfruit Face Oil (14.80 ml) - $10
What initially drew me to their brand is that the prices are very affordable, they have great packaging and an overall appealing selection of products to choose from.
The Superfruit Face Oil made my face feel so soft and it was easy to rub into the skin! It also dispensed through the little opening at the top and it wasn't a pour-out oil. They use: avocado oil, coconut oil, red raspberry and chia seeds in their formula. This product is meant for: moisturizing, revitalizing and nourishing the skin. This was my favourite out of the 4 items that I tried! I couldn't find it on the website anymore and a employee confirmed with me that it was discontinued. I really enjoyed using this facial oil!
The Fresh AF Mist is meant to be used during both the AM and the PM. It claims to be refreshing and cleansing. Inside the formula you will find: Tibetan Ginseng, white lily, rose water and cucumber water. I did enjoy using it but my only complaint is that when you are pressing down to spray the product onto your face, it isn't always consistent and it stops which is annoying. It does smell great and is very refreshing to use on the skin.
The Later Hater Spot Treatment reminds me of the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion and this is definitely a cheaper alternative. It is meant for smoothing and purifying the skin. It is meant to be used in the PM and I wouldn't use it in the AM but you obviously can. There is: salicylic acid, sulphur and calamine inside the formula. You want to stand the bottle upright and take a cotton swap dipping into the very bottom of the bottle. You apply it onto the desired areas with the cotton swab as this is meant to be a spot treatment. I enjoyed using it and found that my pimple really did dry up the following morning!
The Mellow Milk Mist can be using during AM and/or PM. It is both calming and soothing to the skin. Ingredients include: white tea, calendula flower, marshmallow root, chamomile and oat milk. Again, I felt that the sprayer was not continuous and it did feel nice on the skin. I prefer the other mist but both were enjoyable to use. This is the old packaging.
Fourth Ray claims to make effective skincare with visible results that are 100% cruelty-free and they use vegan ingredients. So far, I am happy with everything that I have purchased and look forward to trying out more skincare products from Fourth Ray in the future!
Until next time,
STAY CLASSY
