Shirt Dresses

Hey everyone! Fall is here and I really am enjoying wearing shirt dresses! If you don't have one, you can just wear an oversized men's shirt and add a belt around the waist. I wore an outfit out last night and it was a combination of the two looks. I included a photo at the bottom for you and showed you how I styled my shirt dress with a belt.

I wanted to keep the green monochromatic but of course, you can switch up the purses between the two looks. The brown purse will still match this look because of the brown boots and that they are great fall shades in general.

Outfit Details:
Silver Chain Necklace - Forever 21
Green Crossbody Bag - Hautelook
Green Button-Up Shirt Dress - Romwe
Brown Lace-Up Boots - Hope's

This is a great comfortable fall look that is pretty warm! The combat boots are very practical and I again, wanted to keep the shades of brown monochromatic and threw in a pair of black leggings to break it up a little bit.

Outfit Details:
Brown Hat - Vintage
Gold Prescription Glasses - Aviator Style - Clearly.ca
Dainty Gold Necklace - Garage
Shirt Dress - Forever 21
Black Leggings - Forever 21
Brown Combat Boots - Hope's
Brown Crossbody Bag - Payless Shoes

Until next time,

Low Life | The Weeknd Inspired Outfit

Hey everyone! I was inspired by the Low Life music video by The Weeknd & Future to put this outfit together. The scene where they are outside by the car, you can see that they are both wearing camouflage printed clothing items. I was specifically inspired by The Weeknd's outfit, and I went straight into my closet to pull out my bomber jacket instead of wearing a hoodie like he did. He also wore black jeans but I decided to wear ripped jeans that have a more blue undertone to them.

Outfit Details:
Black Crop Top ---> Brandy Melville
Black Ripped Jeans ---> Hope's
Black Military Boots ---> Hautelook

This outfit definitely has an androgynous aesthetic to it. The jeans are baggy, combat boots (in general,) can be worn by males or females and the bomber jacket is actually from the men's section. A lot of people shy away from exploring the androgynous side of fashion but I actually love it! I still did make it feminine enough by adding a choker necklace and also, a crop top to show some skin.

I was at the Drake concert this past August where Future sang 'Low Life' on stage live in Toronto at the ACC (Air Canada Centre,) and that was an amazing moment that I'll never forget! He told the crowd to sing The Weeknd's part since he is from Scarborough. This song is still one of my favourites and it never gets old for me.

Canadian Thanksgiving 2016 & How I Styled A Tunic

Hey everyone! I hope that all my Canadians had a great Thanksgiving and ate lots of delicious food! I went to a friend's house on the Sunday and I went to my Aunt's place yesterday, (on the Monday) to celebrate! I wanted to share with you what I wore on both days and how you can wear a tunic as well as how to wear multiple trends at the same time.

Outfit #1
I opted for a very fall look and wanted to incorporate these gorgeous fall colours into my outfit. They paired beautifully and I was both warm as well as comfortable in my outfit.

Details:
Brown Duster Coat - Sirens Outlet
Above The Knee Dress - Forever 21
Wine Necklace & Matching Earrings - Hope's
Lip Combo: ColourPop Lippie Pencil in Brink, Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie & Revlon Colourburst Lip Gloss in Bordeaux

Outfit #2
You can see here that I wore: my DIY choker, a velvet tunic and an off the shoulder top which are ALL big trends this fall. Of course I wore it with my: faux fur coat, a comfortable pair of leggings and my go-to trusty combat boots.

Details:
White Crop Top - Hollister
Velveteen Tunic - Forever 21
Black Leggings - Forever 21
Black Combat Boots - Hautelook
Lips: Marc Jacobs Beauty - Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

This is how it looks like from the side.

The Table
My aunt always decorates the table very beautifully and here is a closer look at it.

The Food
The photo on the far left side is actually not edible, it is a table decoration that is shown in the centre of the table in the photo above. Don't let it fool you! The leaves are also fake on the table. The soup was a butternut squash soup with coconut milk, onion and I believe apples. Pictured on the far right was your typical Thanksgiving meal: cranberries, turkey, carrots, brussels sprouts, carrots, mashed potatoes and stuffing. There were also peas available but I don't care for peas. Of course there was gravy as well but I decided against having gravy this year.

Now onto desert! My two aunts made pumpkin pie with cloves inside and on the left, you have a cheesecake with MacIntosh apples laid on top of the crust! They were both delicious!

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.

Last Night's OOTN + Delicious Burger

Hey everyone! Last night was more low-key but still wanted to share this amazing burger that I ate! The place is called Woody's Burger Bar and Grill which is located in Etobicoke. I have to say that I wasn't impressed at all with the service, but the burger definitely made-up for it. You can order a different variety of select beers, get a shake, indulge in a reasonably priced poutine or even get 50/50 fries/sweet potato fries. It is small inside as there is limited seating but there are washroom located at the back of the restaurant. If I do decide to come back here, I will certainly get my burger to-go.

I ordered the California Burger ($7.95 CAD + tax) which had: guacamole, fresh salsa, fried onions, lettuce and pesto mayo. I added jalepenos, roasted red peppers, salt and ketchup. It was very well cooked and the bun didn't fall apart or get too soggy while I took my time to eat my burger. My one friend ordered the Salted Caramel Shake which only tasted and smelled like vanilla when she first ordered it. They added in a little bit more of the salted caramel to it which barely made a difference to be honest. My other friend ordered the fries and they were pretty good. I believe they had sea salt on them. The coleslaw was pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary.

Outfit of the Night (OOTN):
Glasses - Clearly.ca
Silver Necklace - H&M
Grey Ripped Crewneck - Hollister
Black Tank Top - Target
Black Liquid Leggings - Costa Blanca
Black Combat Boots - Hautelook

Happy Galentine's Day/Valentine's Day!

Black, White + Camo

Hey everyone! I wanted to keep this post a bit more mysterious, short and to the point. I paired camo with faux leather leggings and combat boots which I found rather suitable.

Outfit Details:
- High-Low Camo Sweater was purchased from the Sirens outlet for $5
- Faux Leather Leggings are from Costa Blanca
- Combat Boots are from the Pinky brand from Hautelook

P.S. The reason why I am shooting indoors is because where I live, it has been extremely cold and we have been getting polar vortexes as well as extreme cold warnings issued by Environment Canada.

Thanks for understanding.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
