July Empties | 2019

Hey everyone! Let's go through all of my empties for the month of July!

 Face
Peter Thomas Roth Max Sheer All Day Moisture Defense Lotion SPF 30 (30 ml) - I got this awhile back as part of a set. I could no longer find this product on the Sephora website but it is still sold at Ulta. I have very oily skin and this product made my skin overproduce oils. It felt greasy on the face and I started breaking out a bit. This product I forced myself to use up before it expired and I had it in my collection for a long time. I wouldn’t ever use this product again nor would I recommend it even for dry skin types. The only pro is that it contains SPF and I could apply this in the morning and go about my day.

Bioré Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips (14 count) - I purchased these on Amazon for a great price and the charcoal is great for my oily skin. I tend to go through these quite quickly and even got my brother to use them now!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile & Lavender (118 ml) - I have tried many facial sprays by Mario Badescu in the past and I still love to use them! Lavender is one of my favourite scents and I used this spray at night to lock in all of my skincare.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask To Clear Pores (.17 oz/5 ml each x 4) - This mask was great to use on my oily skin and these masks break off into sections which are great to travel with. My skin felt so clean and soft after using it. I did use it once a week and the bamboo charcoal helps to remove any excess oil that could cause blackheads. A tube containing 30 ml will cost you $17 and a 75 ml tube is $34 at Sephora. I did purchase mine at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale for $6.50.

Sheet Masks
SK-II Pitera Facial Treatment Mask (1 Mask) - This mask is not cheap and I’ve had it in my collection for awhile, but when I went on the Sephora website recently, you can’t just buy 1 anymore. I paid $22 for 1 treatment. The instructions say to place over your eye area and then spread it over the rest of your face. You want to pat it firm and leave on for 5-15 minutes. The mask is good quality and it is rather thick compared to other sheet masks that I have used in the past. It was cooling on the face and I left it on for 15 minutes. It’s a single use mask and it is made in Japan. There are 7 ingredients and the first one is water.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Hydrogel Melting Mask (28 g) - This is definitely one of the best sheet masks that I have ever used! It felt so luxurious on the skin and it made my skin so soft after using it. It claims to: glow, plump and smooth your face - all which I agree with! It is rich in bifidus extract and the mask actually contains the same amount of that extract found in 1 full size bottle of their advanced génifique serum. This is a full face and the first ingredient is water. It is made in Korea and I would definitely consider purchasing this mask to use before a special event in the future. The mask retails for $20 on Sephora’s website.

Bath & Body Works
Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Vanilla Bean Noël (259 ml x 2) - This is a classic seasonal scent that Bath & Body Works has to offer and I just love anything with a vanilla scent. I know that it’s in my July Empties but why not use it year round? The notes include: fresh vanilla bean, warm caramel and sugar cookies.

Nails
Revlon Nail Art 3D Jewel Appliqués Wildflowers #02 (18 appliqués) - I tried looking for a link online but could not find one. I am not sure how available these are as I found them at the back of my drawer and bought them years ago at a warehouse sale. These were a bit tricky at first to apply but I soon got the hang of them. It comes with: a mini nail file, a cuticle stick and 18 nail appliqués. I wish that it came with 20 because you can only do a full set once. I do recommend that you set your nails with a clear topcoat and it adds a nice design to your nails.

Miscellaneous
Midol Menstrual Extra Strength (32 caplets) - I always have this on hand when it is around that time of the month. I tend to get very bad cramping and this helps me so much. I only ever buy the extra strength version and if you aren’t sure about this product then please speak to your doctor. I buy mine at the grocery store and it is on the shelf readily accessible.

Body
The Body Shop Instant Glow Body Butter in British Rose (50 ml) - This smelled great and it absorbed into my skin pretty quickly compared to the original body butter formula that tends to be greasy. It really did a great job at hydrating my skin and made it glow. I also layered with with the British Rose Shower Gel and the Atlas Mountain Rose Eau de Toilette from The Body Shop.

George & Viv Coconut Colada Scented Soap (5.3 oz) - This is my first ever purchase at Anthropologie and it smells incredible! It lathers nicely in the shower and my skin feels incredible soft! The scent lingers slightly and I wish that I had bought a few some! It is made in Portugal and when I was in Buffalo, they were having a 50% off sale so I purchased it for $2.50!

Nivea Sabonete Lavanda & Óleos Com Hidratante (85 g) - This is another soap that I purchased in Brazil and I am generally a big fan of lavender scents in general so I thought that I would pick this soap up to try.

Promo/Samples - Face
Olay Eyes Brightening Eye Cream (0.5 ml) - I received this as a sample and got a few uses out of it. I did feel that my under eye area was brightened and I only used this in the morning. My eye area also felt moisturized and I did enjoy using this product! I don’t have dark under eyes so I can’t speak on that. The full size retails for $39 for 15 ml of product.

Clarins Mission Perfection Serum (10 ml) - I received this as a deluxe sample from The Beauty Boutique with my order. The full size is 30 ml ($75) and the size that I received was very generous as it is 1/3rd of a full size bottle. The pump never worked and was defective but I found a way to still get out the product. My skin did look more radiant while using this product and I don’t have dark spots so I can’t speak to that. I did enjoy using it at night.

July Empties | 2018

Hey everyone! It's time to sort through my trash and check out all the products that I finished this month!

Face/Lips
Tarte Lip Facial Lip Scrub Most of the writing has since come off the packaging and I remember receiving this in a set from Sephora that is no longer on their website. This was perfect for travel and I took it to many places. It does a great job at exfoliating as well as conditioning. You just simply twist up the product and I even used it for my dry spot under my bottom lip. There’s some great ingredients such as: Shea butter, petrolatum and antioxidant-rich algae. The only downside is that it is hard to get out every bit of product and I felt myself digging to get the product out of the very bottom of the tube.

Equate Unscented Ultra Soft Baby Wipes (88 count) - These lasted me quite a long time and I used them to remove my makeup at night. They did not tear on me, they were a pretty decent size and I only had to use one at night to remove my whole face of makeup. They are a great value and I would repurchase them again in the future at Walmart!

Estee Lauder Nutritious Vitality 8 Radiant Energy Mist (30 ml) - This did nothing to my face and I thought it was a waste of money. I paid $20 for it and I featured this in my Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale Haul | March 2018. This product has since been discontinued as I no longer see it online and it should be no surprise that this spray was featured in my Disappointing Products | Volume 3 blog post.

Nair Moisturizing Face Cream Hair Remover (57 g) - I use this on my upper lip to remove the hair there. This isn’t the best product on the market and you have to ensure that you do not leave it on for too long or else your skin will be irritated. My tube has gone off and I’m onto my new bottle now. This is very affordable but I have to use it once every 1-2 weeks regularly.

Face Masks
Garnier The Super Purifying Charcoal Sheet Mask (28 ml) - This was one of the more comfortable sheet masks to wear and only the mask itself was black - the essence was clear. My face felt refreshed and softer after using it just once. I would definitely repurchase this mask in the future and try out some other ones from Garnier! If you want to know more about this mask, I have a dedicated review on this exact sheet mask.

Innisfree My Real Squeeze Rice Mask (20 ml) - This is described as a rich cream-type mask that is enriched with abundant nourishment from rice. This mask is on the smaller side as far as fit is concerned and there is a slight scent that did not bother me. This is definitely a creamier mask as the essence is not in liquid form and the leftover product on your face after you peel off the sheet mask is heavier too. Usually I dislike it but for this mask, I actually did not mind. It is a heavier sheet mask though so keep that in mind before you purchase it. This isn’t amongst my favourite masks but it isn’t a bad one either.

Body/Hands
Korres Shower Gel in Water Lily Blossom (400 ml) - I originally purchase this at TSC Warehouse Sale and it was such a great buy! I liked the scent as it is described as a fresh, delicate scent of water flowers. The formula of this shower gel was also fantastic and I’m already onto another scent from the brand! The only downfall is that this product is hard to track down as only shopping channel networks or eBay popped up when I tried finding a direct link to this product therefore, it’s safe to say that I think it's discontinued.

Ed Hardy Villain Eau De Parfum Spray (75 ml) - This bottle took me a while to get through and the scent never went off luckily. The lasting power was awful on this particular scent and that’s the main reason why I would not repurchase it. The bottle is designed well and this has gone down in price significantly over the years. I'm pretty sure it has been discontinued.

AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream (100 ml) - I purchased mine on The Bay’s website for $12.60 on sale which a deal that you can’t beat considering that the hand cream alone retails for $30. This product does not irritate my psoriasis and it is very moisturizing. It is approved for sensitive skin, it is allergy tested and paraben free. The only con is that the packaging is rather boring and they can switch it up because the tube tends to get really dirty. Check out my review on the AHAVA Precious Mineral Stars Set Review.

Bath & Body Works
Car Fragrance Refill in Honolulu Sun (6 ml) - I used to really like the scent when it was new but the last few times I’ve come across it, I’m just over it. It’s very strong smelling and I’m not into it anymore. It’s time to retire this scent for the time being and move onto new ones!

Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Peach Bellini (259 ml) - I have repurchased this scent many times throughout the years and it’s one of my favourites from Bath & Body Works. It is described as having notes of: juicy peach, white apricot and fresh mango. It smells great and you can’t go wrong with having this in your bathroom for guests to use!

Creamy Luxe Hand Soap in Warm Vanilla Sugar (236 ml) - This is a great hand soap for the bathroom and is one that I have purchased several times throughout the years. It is described as: rich, creamy vanilla sprinkled with sparkling sugar. I will continue to repurchase this scent as it never get tired of it!

Miscellaneous
Equate Tearless Baby Shampoo (592 ml) - For anyone who follows my blog, this should come as no surprise as this is what I use to clean both my makeup sponges as well as my makeup brushes. It is very affordable and lasts me a decent amount of time. I am already on my new bottle and it works the same as Johnson’s Baby Shampoo in my honest opinion but is $2 cheaper for the same amount of product.

June Empties | 2019

Hey everyone! Let's go through my trash together that I accumulated from last month!

Face
Cedar Phoenicia Rose Water (250 ml) - This isn’t my first bottle of rose water and I use it at night as a toner. I buy mine at the grocery store in the imported foods/drinks section and usually find it at the very top. I pay less than $3 for my bottle and I have noticed a lot of brands coming out with overpriced rose water. This is distilled rose water and it helps my skin looking fresh! I swear by this stuff and will continue to purchase it! I have an entire blog post dedicated to the Benefits of Rose Water so you can learn more about it!

MAC Cleanse Off Oil (30 ml) - I really wanted to like this product but it just didn’t perform like I wanted it to. The pump was messy, stiff and inconsistent. I’m not sure if the formula for the travel size and the full size is the same or different. I purchased the travel sized version at the Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale | September 2018 just to try it out without committing to the larger bottle. I just feel like it didn’t do a good enough job at breaking down my makeup and that other makeup removing oils perform better on the skin. Check out my review.

The Estée Edit Dissolve The Drama Longwear Makeup Remover Wipes (30 Sheets) - This line has since been discontinued by Estée Lauder and I was unable to link them for you. These wipes did do a great job at removing my makeup and I purchased them at the Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale in the $4 section.

Sheet Masks
Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask (32 ml) - I bought the last bunch of these at the L’Oréal Warehouse Sale for a very affordable price. It felt cooling on my face initially when I first put it on and it suggests to leave it on your face for 15 minutes. My face felt soft and hydrated. I have been travelling a lot lately and took 6 planes making my skin look super dull! This has sakura exact and hyaluronic acid in the formula. It’s a good sheet mask but it isn’t one of my favourites.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mask (20 ml) - This was a really nice sheet mask that did make my skin look radiant and dewy after use! The mask fit well on my face and the fragrance was not too strong. I left mine on for 20 minutes and I would say that this is worth the $16. Tatcha products are made in Japan and I like that there is a story on the back of most if not all of their packaging.

Bath & Body Works
Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Frozen Lake (259 ml) - This hand soap has notes of frozen cypress, eucalyptus and juniper berry. It smelled great and was a nice musky scent. This is especially perfect to use in the Fall & Winter months.

Body/Hands
Palmolive Naturals Esfoliação Delicada (85 g) - I purchased this from a grocery store in Brazil and I wish that I had bought more! It smells incredible as it has jasmine and cocoa butter inside the formula. The scent smells fresh, not too strong and I can’t say enough good things about it!

The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel (60 ml) - This product actually came in a set with a loofah as well as a body butter. The scent is nice and definitely for someone who likes the smell of roses. The full size retails for $10 and I really liked the formula!

Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Cream (5.5 oz/155 g) - I purchased mine in The States and am not sure that they sell this in Canada. I seen Wendy Williams speak about this on her post-show video and went on the hunt for this hand cream! It is very nourishing and helps my dry hands yet does not irritate my psoriasis. The formula contains: coconut oil, Shea butter and African shea butter. I would repurchase this in a heat beat and Gold Bond is my favourite brand of hand cream!

Teeth
Crest 3D Whitestrips in Classic Vivid (20 strips) - These are affordable, easy to find in-stores and are great for travel. They help to whiten my teeth and leave them on for 45 minutes to 1 hour. I use them about once a week and they do the job!

Miscellaneous
Ambientador De Coche - Aire Limpio - Francisco Aragón (6 ml) - I bought this in Spain, I’m pretty sure at a grocery store in Seville as per my friend’s recommendation. She found out about these in Portugal and said that they were fantastic! The fragrance has a strong, clean, fresh scent to it, and I put it in my car. You take off the plastic seal and then turn it upside down for the liquid to absorb into the wood cap to get it going. If the scent starts fading as time goes on, you just turn it upside down 3 times consecutively and your problem will be solved! When the liquid runs out, you need to replace it with a new one. I really liked these and would recommend them as they come in a variety of scents.

Promo/Samples - Face
Sothys Hydra-Smoothing Mask This is a hydrating mask that contains hyaluronic acid in the formula. You will want to apply a thick layer on the face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. It says you can wipe or rinse off any excess product but I like to wash it off. It is definitely a creamy mask and it claims to be for all skin types. My skin felt very soft after using it and it smelled great!

Bioré Self Heating One Minute Mask (4) - I received this for reviewing purposes and I actually had been wanting to try this product out for quite some time. They are single use packets which is fantastic for travel as I took one with me on my last vacation and they are very effective. Also like the name suggests, it is a one minute mask. It feels warm on the skin and you massage it into your skin. It is easy to use and I totally would purchase these!

Belief The True Cream - Aqua Bomb (3ml x 2) - I got these samples sent to me in the mail and I had heard a lot of hype about this brand in the past. I was not disappointed and I really enjoyed using the aqua bomb! It felt great on my skin, absorbed quickly, didn’t feel sticky and left my skin feeling soft while boosting hydration. It is also: oil-free, an ultra-lightweight gel moisturizer and is a great all around product that doesn’t have a lot of fragrance. I would definitely consider purchasing the full size in the future that is 50 ml for $47 at Sephora.
Update: Sephora now sells it for $50.

August Empties | 2019

Hey everyone! Summer is coming to an end and let's check out all of my empty products I went through last month!

Face
YSL Top Secrets Eye Makeup Remover Bi-Phase (30 ml) - I had this for a while as it came with part of a kit and it did the job to remove all my eye makeup. I appreciated the fact that it is not greasy on the skin and doesn’t leave a residue. You need to shake it up because it is a bi-phase remover so the two can mix together and get activated to begin working. For 100 ml of product, it is $38 which is rather expensive and I’d say to check out cheaper options before committing to the full size.

MAC Lightful Marine-Bright Formula Softening Lotion (30 ml) - I purchased this at the Estée Lauder Warehouse Sale | September 2018 for $5. Honestly, after I bought it, I was finishing up some of my products and when I went to use it, I then realized that it was basically a toner. I feel like I enjoy using my rose water so much that nothing really compares. This wasn’t a bad product but it wasn’t what I thought it was and I believe that they have revamped this product recently.

Sheet Masks
Trader Joe’s Rich Hydrating Face Sheet Mask (20 ml) - I could never recommend this to anyone as it burned and irritated my skin while it was on. My skin felt warm and I do not have sensitive skin! I did end up Googling to see if anyone else had the same experience as I did and the floodgates opened! Also, my skin felt sticky after removing it and I would never use it again.

Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask with Sakura Extract (32 ml) -I featured this in my June Empties and I did enjoy using it. I also gifted this to a few friends and there is a lot of essence that is leftover at the bottom for future uses!

Bath & Body Works
Scentportable in Cinnamon Caramel Swirl (6 ml) - I purchased this last year when they were having their semi-annual sale and made sure that I stocked up! This came out to just a few cents and it smells incredible! This is the perfect introduction to Fall scent and I can’t get enough of it!

Body
Mistral Palm Luxury Bar Soap (7 oz/200 g) - I purchased this when I was in Buffalo from Anthropologie and it was originally $8, marked down to $4.95 and it was an additional 50% off the sale price. I really like the scent of this soap and it has exfoliating vanilla bean. It lasts quite a long time in the shower but the only downside is that it tends to shed in the shower parts of the natural ingredients. It is made in France and my only regret is not purchasing more because I can’t find it on the website anymore!

Equate Women’s Triple Blade Disposable Razors (4 count) - These are still my favourite disposable razors! They are $4 each making them $1 each and I tend to use them for around 1 month before I toss them. They are the best and I tend to stock-up when I see them in store! I can’t recommend these enough!

Nails/Hands
The Body Shop Sweet Almond Oil (100 ml) - I could not find this on their website maybe due to the fact that I purchased this a few years back. It does not contain acetone and is gentle on the nails. They packaged it in plastic when it came to my house and I really enjoyed using it!

Car Scents
Ambientador De Coche - Francisco Aragón (6 ml) - I purchased this while in Spain and I can’t find the exact scent online anymore but it is the green apple one. I found that while using these in the Summer, they run out so fast compared to when I used the previous one in the Winter. I think the heat really causes the liquid to evaporate quickly. I preferred this one over the  other one because the scent wasn’t too overpowering.

Miscellaneous
Equate Cotton Rounds (100 Rounds) - They are some of my favourite cotton rounds that are very inexpensive from Wal Mart. I have gone through countless packs and am currently using a new pack! I use these with my toner for my face and with my nail polish remover.

Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner Travel Set (60 ml) - I honestly feel like this is great for makeup artists or the busy every day person who doesn’t have time to do a full deep clean on their brushes. This allows you to get the colour or product off your brush with little down time before you need to go in again with another makeup item. I won’t be repurchasing this because I’m not a makeup artist and nothing gets my brushes as clean as when I deep clean them. You could always keep this bottle and refill it from the large size when you are travelling which saves a ton of space! It has a nice smell to it but one con is that you need to use a lot of brush cleaner to get your brushes clean. It is expensive for what it is and I use paper towel in conjunction with the brush cleaner which is wasteful in my opinion.

Promo/Samples - Face
Darphin Stimulskin Plus Multi-Corrective Divine Splash Mask Lotion (25 ml) - I received this as a deluxe sample from The Beauty Boutique. This product was designed in Paris and made in Italy. The full size version is 125 ml retailing at $160. I used this after my toner but before my cream as I would an essence. It is a nice product but it is very expensive and I would not purchase this on my own as I didn’t see a significant different in my skin’s texture or appearance.

Amore Pacific Treatment Cleansing Foam (30 ml) - I received this as part of a set when I redeemed 500 points on Sephora’s website. I really enjoyed using this cleansing foam at night on my face and it also did further break down any remaining makeup when I used it as a second cleanser. You don’t need much product and it did not dry out my skin. This is ideal for normal to oily and oily skin types which I definitely am! My problem with cleansers is that I tend to get bored of them quickly but I didn’t get tired of this one at all and quite the opposite, I enjoyed using it each night! This is probably one of my all time favourite cleansers dare I say it! The full size retails for $60 and you get 120 ml in a squeeze tube. This is dermatologist tested and it is made in Korea.

Amore Pacific Vintage Single Extract Essence (1 ml) - This came as a sample in my Sephora order that I chose at checkout. This is definitely not a cheap product as 120 ml will run you $200. I used it once at night after I toned my face and it felt nice as it absorbed quickly into my skin but, it’s hard to say as I used it only once. I’d have to use it more than once to really give a well thought-out review, but I am a fan of the brand in general!
Update: The price has gone up to $230 for 150 ml.

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream (2 ml) - I have used a sample of this in the past and I truly do love this cream! It smells like fresh roses, it is thicker in texture but it feels absolutely fantastic on the skin! My skin feels so soft after using it and the first ingredient is water.

Don't forget to check out my July Empties!

August Empties | 2018

Hey everyone! Sorry for getting this post up so late and excuse me for my absence, but better late than never right?

Face
Tatcha Water Cream (10 ml) - This felt very lightweight on the skin and it great to use for those with: dryness, larger pores, dull skin as well as uneven texture. It is an oil-free cream that is packed with a ton of great ingredients for the skin. They are a Japanese brand and you can find their products at Sephora. A full size jar will run you $82 and you will get 50 ml of product.
Update: The price has gone up to $89.

Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator (40 g) - I originally got this at the Chick Advisor Spring Cleaning Event that I went to in May. I had heard of the brand but never tried any of their products. I really enjoyed using this exfoliating cleanser in the morning to get rid of all the dead skin cells on my face. It is made with some great ingredients and I do have an entire review on this product you can check out!

Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel (125 ml) - This bottle actually lasted me a long time and did a great job at breaking down my makeup. I used this as my second cleanser when I would be double cleansing my face. It is a gel consistency and the full size is 240 ml for $47. It is a more expensive cleanser and will go through my current stash before I decide whether or not to purchase this cleanser again in the future.
Update: It now retails for $52.

Bioré Pink Lemonade Deep Cleansing Pore Strips Limited Edition Design (8 count) -I purchased these at Ulta in Michigan and they really do smell like citrus! The packaging of each individual pore strip is pink and the design you see in the middle of the box is the actual design on the pore strip! These are really fun and I really enjoyed switching them up from my usual white pore strips I buy from Bioré! You can't get this exact type anymore as it was limited edition.

Sheet Masks
Tony Moly Pureness 100 Caviar Sheet Mask (21 ml) - The caviar sheet mask claims to deliver rich nourishment to the skin and it is soaked in essence. There was a slight scent to it and I want to point out that the first ingredient is water. It suggests that you leave it on for 20-30 minutes and I left mine on for the maximum amount of time. This mask is made in Korea and I purchased mine at Pacific Mall. It is very affordable and it is made by non-bleached fabric which contains cotton seeds. I actually gifted this sheet mask before in the past and I will definitely continue to purchase it in the future also to use on myself!

Freeman Beauty Infusion Purifying Sheet Mask with Sea Kelp + Probiotics (25 ml) - This is a cotton mask that feels a little bit thicker but fits my face well. It claims to instantly boost clarity and restores balance. It helps with hydration and the mask is infused with serum. This was just okay in my honest opinion and I wouldn’t say that it is amongst my favourites. It reminds me of a body mist that I bought when I was younger. I purchased mine at Walmart and they do have other kinds to choose from.

Body
Gilette Venus with Olay Vanilla Cashmere Shave Gel (198 g/7 oz) - I’m pretty sure that I have the old packaging and also positive that they did increase their price on this particular item. The new can only contains 170 g of product and it is shorter. However, I do like the scent and the formula of the old can. I’m curious to see how the new one will compare to this one. It contains 5x more moisturizers and soft, smooth skin. It is easy to use and affordable as I picked mine up originally at Walmart.

BIC Soleil Sensitive Skin Razors (4 count) - These are my favourite disposable razors and I always buy them in bulk. Each razor has 3 blades and I like the rubber grip! I purchase mine at Walmart and they have been my go-to for years!

Bath & Body Works
Car Fragrance Refill in Mango Dragonfruit (6 ml) -This is a great scent for the warmer months and I have gone through a few of these already! I’m still not sick of this scent yet and it reminds me of a tropical paradise!

Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Beautiful Day (259 ml) - I really like this scent and love that it comes in different forms. The notes include: sun kissed apple, sparkling cassis and wild daisies. The formula contains coconut oil and I like the font on the packaging a lot!

Hair
Love Beauty And Planet Volume and Bounty Shampoo in Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower (400 ml) - This shampoo smells great, it lathers well in the shower, there is an awesome message behind the brand and it’s very affordable! I have been trying out several products out from this brand and have liked all of them so far! I do have a more in-depth review that you can check out!

Teeth
Crest 3D White No Slip Classic Vivid Whitestrips (20 strips - 10 treatments) - These really did a great job at whitening my teeth and I even got compliments on my teeth! I used one strips once every week or two and I usually left mine on for 1 hour even though it says to leave it on for 30 minutes on the back of the box. It claims to remove 5 years worth of stains. I would repurchase these in a heartbeat!

Supplements
Emergen-C Effervescent Powder in Tropical (30 packets) - I have been purchasing this product for years and wanted to try-out this flavour in particular as it was new to me. I wasn’t the biggest fan and I found that there was a weird aftertaste. I do like the product in general but not a fan of the tropical flavour.

Promo/Samples -
Face
Greeniche Naturalene Cleansing Wipe (1 count) - I received this free at a festival to try-out. There are a lot of benefits to this product such as it containing: natural fibres, it’s vegan and they use natural ingredients. I found the wipe to be on the drier side, it smelled like a cleaning product to me and it was rather rough on my face. I wasn’t a fan of it and I wouldn’t purchase these.

Body
Le Petit Marseillais Mandarin & Lime Body Wash (2 x 10 ml) - I actually received these in my Glamour Voxbox and I have also used this product in the past. I love all things lime and also really liked the fact that this product foamed up nicely in the shower. There is a generous amount of product in each sample pack and it is perfect for travel!

Gillette Venus Platinum Extra Smooth (1 razor, 2 cartridges) - I have used Venus razors in the past and have always been impressed! This razor has 5 blades and it gave me a close shave. This is the platinum edition that comes with a solid metal handle which is molded to fit your hand. I really enjoyed using it and you have probably seen the commercials on television already!

Hair
Love Beauty And Planet Argan Oil & Lavender Smooth & Serene Shampoo (10 ml) - I love the smell of this shampoo and it lathered really well in the shower! I actually received this sample at a Target in Michigan that I went to. I have been really impressed with this brand and loved everything that I have tried from them so far!

Love Beauty And Planet Argan Oil & Lavender Smooth & Serene Conditioner (10 ml) - I had a bad experience with a Lavender Conditioner in the past and finally found my favourite lavender conditioner! Both the shampoo and the conditioner are targeted to those with frizzy hair which I have. I can’t say enough good things about the duo!

DryBar On The Rocks Clarifying Charcoal Shampoo (7 ml) - The charcoal is supposed to help remove impurities and build-up without drying out the hair. It lathered well, the consistency was a little thicker which I did not mind and there was enough in the sample packet to use for my entire heard of hair. It didn’t do anything miraculous to my hair and it does run a bit expensive as 250 ml of product will cost you $30.
Update: The price has gone up to $34.

DryBar On The Rocks Lightweight Replenishing Conditioner (7 ml) - In my opinion, the conditioner smelled way better for some reason. It was an excellent conditioner and really did a great job at conditioning my hair. This was my first time ever trying anything from this brand! It claims to be good for all hair types including fine.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY
