MAC Lipstick Collection & Swatches

Hey everyone! I have been purchasing and wearing MAC Lipstick for many years now. I have gone through several of their products in the past and one shade that I have used up that is not featured here is Angel which is such a pretty soft, muted pink shade. I'll be sharing some of my personal favourite shades in this post and please let me know what some of your favourites are in the comment section!

Performance & How Comfortable Is It To Wear?

MAC Lipsticks are my go-to and are great to throw into the purse for quick touch-ups throughout the day or night. They are very comfortable to wear on the lips and I love the scent of the lipsticks! Also, the shape of the actual lipstick makes it easy to apply onto the lips and I have never had a problem with any of their lip products.

Shades, Finishes, Price(s) & Weight

There are hundreds of shades and MAC does come out with exciting collections as well as collaborations quite often. Their lipsticks come in many different finishes in their standard black bullet packaging which includes: Matte, Retro Matte, Cremesheen, Frost, Satin, Lustre, Amplified, Glaze and Metallic. Cremesheen, Lustre and Glaze formulas are not as pigmented but they are great for every day wear! My favourite formulas are definitely the Satin and Matte ones. A standard lipstick on the MAC website retails for $22 and you get 3 grams of product.

Update: It's now $24 for a lipstick.

  Swatches, My Favourite Shade(s) & Most Worn

Like I previously mentioned, I went through an entire tube of Angel and Myth is about to be gone in just a matter of time. I really like Twig and Mehr which are both shades that are perfect for Fall as well as they are two of my favourite formulas listed above! Generally speaking, any of the nudes, I do reach for the most as they are great every day, wearable shades. I could only find Angel on MAC USA.

 

You can see above that I swatched Hue twice and that is to show you that it comes across as a lighter pigmented formula but you can definitely build it up! The Huggable Lip Colours are definitely one of my most comfortable lip formulas in my entire collection and still wanted to share with you the shades that I own even though I can't find working links.
