February Empties | 2016

Hey everyone! It's that time again! You will get a closer look at all the products that I have used up this month and you will also get a mini-review of each product to see whether or not I feel as if it is a product worth purchasing!

Hair
L'Oreal Kids Tangle Tamer for Wet & Dry Hair - I have repurchased this in the past and now, I feel that I am over this product. It isn't delivering the same results that it used to and it is an unnecessary step in my hair care routine. Also, I barely smell the sweet pear scent that it claims to deliver.

Selsun Blue Deep Cleansing Micro-Bead Scrub Anti-Dandruff Shampoo - There is 3% Salicylic Acid in here and I like to leave it on my scalp for at least 5 minutes. I feel that it really deep cleans my scalp and it does the job. I have an oily yet dry scalp which can be hard to manage. I love this brand but this isn't my favourite product within the line. Both my brother and I use this brand regularly.

Teeth
Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste Gel - This is a standard product and very basic. It does the job and isn't anything special. I would categorize it in my "plains."

Sunstar G.U.M. Advanced Care Flossers - These are great to use and very inexpensive. They do not break when you are using them and are quite durable. I bought mine at Wal-Mart for a few dollars and will repurchase!

Face
Pond's Exfoliating Renewal Wet Cleansing Towelettes - For years, Pond's has been my favourite brand of cleansing cloths to use on my face. They can get expensive and for that reason, I have used other brands. This package includes 30 towelettes and has both citrus & cucumber scents. I feel that these do not dry out as fast as some of the other makeup wipes that I have used in the past and that it really takes off the majority of my makeup. They are sturdy and do not break while I use them and I only need to use one to get off my full face of makeup.

Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips - You already know that I am a huge fan of using Biore strips. When I seen this box in the store, I was a bit hesitant because you are getting less strips for the same amount of money. Let me tell you right now that these get EVERYTHING OFF. They are well worth the money and these are slowly becoming my favourite product in the line.

OXY Emergency Acne Vanishing Spot Gel - I was one of the winners in a OXY contest and this was one the the items that they sent me in the prize pack. I felt that it was mediocre. I didn't have high hopes to begin with and even though it DID do a good job at drying out the pimple(s), it also did dry out my skin. In the winter time, my skin is already dry enough to begin with and to get even more dry is a pain to deal with. This will not be a staple in my skin care routine unfortunately.

Body
Gilette Venus Shaving Gel in Luscious Lilies - I really enjoy most of the shaving gels and creams in this line. I enjoyed the scent and will continue to repurchase from Gillette as it is my go-to!

Bath & Body Works Sonoma Weekend Escape 24 Hour Moisture Ultra Shea Body Cream - This is one of my favourite scents from Bath & Body Works and there are notes of: pear nectar, Sonoma peach and sun drenched oak! This is really a great line and I purchased it for my friends as well as my family! It is a light scent and the formula is very hydrating. I mentioned it in my latest Youtube video.

Hands
Bath & Body Works Gentle Foaming Hand Soap in Oh Snap! Jolly Gingerbread - This was a great festive soap to use around the holidays. The packaging looks great in the bathroom and is very fun!

Vitamins
Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies with Biotin - I have a few blog posts talking about this particular product because I just can't seem to get enough of it! They do wonders for my hair, skin and nails! I can't be without them and I have a few back-ups.

Nature's Bounty Echinacea 1000 mg - I bought this when I was sick last month for awhile and it helped my cold from getting worse. My friend and also my doctor recommended it to me.

Miscellaneous
BIC Soleil Bella Razors - I enjoyed using these razors and they have flexible blades! I usually use just the BIC Soleil razors that are not the Bella. They are very inexpensive and I bought mine at Wal-Mart. BIC Soleil in general is my go-to brand for razors and I will buy the Bella again in the near future!

100% Pure Cotton Rounds - There are 100 cotton rounds in the package and I always feel as though I go through them quickly. I love them and I buy them at Wal-Mart. These are a staple for me!

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Nail Polish in 601 French Riviera - I love this colour but there is not a lot of product inside! The bottle is small and I need at least 2-3 coats when using this shade. Needless to say the bottle goes very quickly. I am not sure if this was limited edition or not.

Samples
Atelier Cologne in Mandarine Glaciale - It is a unisex scent but I feel as though it is very masculine smelling. It was nice to try but as most people know, each scent will smell different on every person depending on their body chemistry. This wasn't my favourite on me but I still used up both samples that Sephora sent me.

Northern Delights Inuit Herbal Tea in Labrador Tea & Arctic Blend - I was actually sent out these two teas by the company but they did not ask me to review them. I wanted to give these a shout out because they have delicious blends and am interested in trying out more flavours! They smell delicious when in the tea bag and are even more delicious to drink. I was very impressed overall and they are a Canadian company.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.

July Empties | 2014

Hey everyone! I will be showing you the products that I have used up in their entirety for the month of July.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes (Hydrating) - My favourite ones. They claim to remove even waterproof mascara which I found to be true. These wipes do not dry out my skin either.

Lush Aqua Marina Face and Body Cleanser - I liked it but it could get messy as large chunks of seaweed could get stuck in a small drain.

Up & Up Eye Makeup Remover (Target brand) - It was alright but it didn't do anything out of the ordinary to my skin.

Cetaphil Derma Control Oil Control Foam Wash - I have re-purchased this countless times and this product really helps me to manage my psorasis.

Thentix Skin Conditioner 'A Touch of Honey' - It was just okay and once again, it didn't do anything fantastic to my skin. This was another product that I was trying out to help manage my psorasis on my hands. With that being said, I would not repurchase.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Revelation Tinted Self-Tanning Gelee for Body - (Sample)
I really liked this product. It absorbed into the skin quickly, did not make me look orange and gave me an overall healthy glow. I plan to buy the full size version of this product.

Revlon Photo Ready 3D Volume Mascara - 001 Blackest Black - I did not like this formula. I usually gravitate towards Revlon mascaras in general and I felt like this one let me down. It really clumped on me and the formula is overly wet.

Bare Minerals Original SPF 15 Foundation - Medium Beige N20 (Sample) - I tried this out for the first time and I actually used it as a setting powder. It worked well for me and I have no complaints but I'm not sure if I would buy a larger size only because I prefer pressed powder over loose powder.

NYX HD Photogenic Concelear - CW04 Beige - This matched my face perfectly. When it was blended in, you could not tell that I was wearing makeup. I really do like the product and the price point of the product. My only complaint is that this tube runs out very fast! Next time I am in an Ulta, I will probably buy 4 of these little tubes. The formula does crease slightly throughout the day if you apply it to the under eye area, but it is not unmanageable.

ELF Makeup Mist & SetIf you have been following my blog for a few months, you already know that this is my holy grail. I have been tapping into my backup stash of this little baby and have used up another one.

ELF Studio Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose - I have had this particular product for such a long time that the entire label has worn off on the packaging. I love this colour and use it every day. I have already went ahead and purchased two backups of this colour. Even though it is a matte formula, it does not dry out my lips and is a twist up product.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.
