Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip & Blotted Lip Review & Swatches

Hey everyone! These are new launches available on the Colourpop website for Spring 2017!

I picked up two shades in two different formulas to test them out!

Blotted Lip - Sucker - $5

This is an orange toned coral and you can build up the intensity of this colour to your liking. 

Brows: Colourpop Bangin' Brunette & Black 'N Brown Brow Pencil

It reminds me of the Lippie Stix but this is easier to twist up and the product is wider in circumference which I like. You are still getting the same amount of product (1 g,) the packaging is just shorter and wider which I prefer actually. 

The best way to apply this product is to blot it onto your lips like you would a lipstick and I like to use my finger to diffuse the product even more to really blend it out. This is a dry matte and is not moisturizing. I have to say that you should heavily exfoliate your lips before application because this is a matte formula that is not forgiving at all! If you have chapped lips, it will definitely emphasize that! 

Ultra Blotted Lip - Out of Beach - $6

This has a doe foot applicator and it is the same size as their other wands in their other liquid lip formulas. It applied onto the lips easily and even. 

On eyes: Super Shock Pigment in Kelp Me

This is described as an orange/coral shade and this is a sheer matte with medium coverage. It gives off a soft and diffused look almost looking like the colour has stained your lips (in a good way.) It is definitely comfortable and lightweight (much more than a regular liquid lipstick,) but it transferred a little bit onto my hand. 

There wasn't any cracking when I wore it but if you layer on many coats, it will definitely end up cracking. You should lightly exfoliate your lips before applying this but it is slightly forgiving. You could line your lips for more definition and precision, but I just applied the product directly onto my lips to see how it truly wore. This is a beautiful colour for the summer and as the name suggests, it would be great to wear to the beach!
