Project 10 Pan - Round 2 | 2016

Hey everyone! I really enjoyed writing the last blog post for you where I showed you 10 beauty related items that I had finally used up, and I decided to do it again just for my readers! You can see all the10 items that I have used up and as always, my honest opinions on each one will follow.

1. Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Treatment Foundation in Natural 4 - I found this foundation to be rather liquidy. I did like the yellow tone of this foundation because my skin is very yellow and it can be hard to find a shade that suits me well.

2. Annabelle Skin True Concealer Quad - This lasted me a long time and I found the shades to be creamy. It doesn't look like you are getting a lot of product but you really are which is a nice surprise!

3. Neutrogena Shine Control Powder - This was a decent powder. I have combination skin and it has been more on the oily side lately. I found that for this product to truly work on my face, I had to reapply it often which isn't always practical.

4. NYX Matte Finish Long Lasting Setting Spray - I was not a fan of this product and my inclination was right because this product made my skin breakout! My face didn't look very matte either after spraying my face generously with this product.

5. NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette - I think that you do not get enough product and this ran out very quickly on me. The shade is a good match for my complexion, I just wish the pencil wouldn't break so easily because it is very thin.

6. Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Voluminizing Mascara in 30 Blacquer - This was a great product to use and did give my lashes a good amount of volume!

7. Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara - This mascara was a 100 point perk from Sephora and I can't give my true opinion on it because I believe that it came to me expired. The formula was extremely dry and there was a strange smell to it. I have a hunch that it was sitting too long in their warehouse! The brush is very unique though.

8. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien - I loved the colour which is a pink/nude, but hated that I had to sharpen it and this particular product transferred onto my teeth A LOT even after blotting with a tissue!

9. MAC Select Cover-Up in NW20 - This is probably one of my favourite concealers out there currently. I am a concealer junkie and this is easy to blend as well as matches my skin tone very well! There isn't a lot of creasing and looks natural on my skin once blended out.

10. Hard Candy Brows Now! Brow Fiber Gel & Highlighter for Brunettes - I purchased mine at Wal-Mart and it is very affordable. I used up the brow fiber side within a few months and the highlighter took my much longer to use up. It is a good dual ended product but I will be trying out other items before I decide to repurchase this again.

Until next time,

STAY CLASSY.

How To Keep Your Oils In Check During The Hotter Months Using Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

Hey everyone! I have combination skin and during the warmer months, my oils on my face get out of control sometimes! I need a product to keep them in check! My go-to product to eliminate the shine and oil is the Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. It is colourless powder and if you're curious, the shade on the back is called 'invisible.'

Once again, you can tell by the collage that this product has been well-loved! It is definitely a staple in my make-up collection! I wouldn't just go out and purchase a brand new product for the purpose of this blog post because I don't think that's being real or truthful with all my readers. I will only ever mention products that I personally love and have used for a good amount of time. If I do mention a new product, it is because I haven't tried it out yet and either want your feedback on it; or I am going to try it out and will give my thoughts on it after I finish trying it out.

Enough with this little tangent/rant and back to this wonderful powder!

I didn't include a swatch of this product because it is a translucent powder and there is no colour to show in form of a swatch. Also, it won't oxidize or change the colour of your foundation because there is no colour to it! This powder is matte and I do not find it to be cakey at all! I don't find myself using a ton of product when applying it to my skin and I don't need several touch-ups throughout the day - maybe just one if I do remember to carry this product with me!

This is a drugstore product and I believe that I picked mine up at Walgreens or Rite Aid. It is also sold at Target and Ulta. I paid around $10 (give or take,) for this product and there are always promotions running on the Neutrogena brand for buy one and get the second one 50% off so be on the lookout for that!

STAY CLASSY.

Thanks for stopping by!
