Hey everyone! I went to the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale on Saturday, September 9th, and I wanted to share with you what I picked up!
I picked up several items from the $4 section because it is definitely a great value and there are always new items in that section.
I only picked up two Estee Lauder items and I am definitely curious on how well their makeup wipes perform so I will keep you updated on that! It was $12 for 45 towelettes.
My favourite purchase has to be the Tom Ford lipstick that I stumbled across. It was selling for $20 which is a steal because they go for $70+ which means that I saved $50 on the lipstick! I picked up #01 Private Life. They sold out of some other shades that I was interested in buying but I am still content with my purchase. They were also selling the bronzer for $60 or $70 which is a great deal because it goes for $132 on the Sephora website.
Inside the $5 gift bag at the end, I got a beauty powder from the Trolls collection by MAC that I actually had in my online cart at one point but I ultimately decided not to purchase it. I guess that it was finally meant to be and the packaging is honestly amazing! I also got a MAC eyeshadow quad that I am going to travel with on my trip because it has neutral shades that you can actually create an entire look with. They also don't give you 4 separate bags anymore and now, they combine it into one large bag.
The gift at the end for giving in your invitation was 2 MAC nail polishes like always. Nothing has changed from the last few times as the gift has remained the same.
Overall, the sale wasn't too great this time and there were fewer GLAMGLOW cleansers on the floor and the masks were behind the scenes as the ones that were put out, had all been taken by customers. I waited about 45 minutes to get inside the sale which is a huge improvement from last time and there were 2 people at the front as 1 person was responsible for clicking the number of people that walked inside the sale as well as another employee that punched a hole in the invitation card. This method was much more efficient than last time and they should consider doing this every single time there is a sale rather than having only 1 person which results in customers waiting in line longer than they have to. I will be attending the Winter sale because there is a perfume that I have constantly been wanting to purchase and then each time, I have put it back. Therefore the next sale that I attend, I will be picking up that fragrance!
Also, after the makeup sale, my friend and I ended up just outside Pacific Mall and we decided to go inside the mall. The last time that I was there was around 8 years ago and I wanted to see what was new. I found a store that had Tony Moly masks for a really good price and I also picked up some other brands. I needed to replenish my stock therefore I bought 15 masks in total. I got a discount because I bought in bulk. The store is called Myeong-Dong Beauty and I definitely will be returning once I am back in that area! Let me know if you have tried any of these facial masks and what your favourite one is!

There were a lot of the same items throughout the sale, more so than usual and many similar items in the $4 bins also. This was definitely the least amount of items that I have ever gotten from the sale. However, I really like the free gift and my $5 bag as it is in my top 3 in all the years of attending the sale so far!

Hey everyone! I picked up these two products when I was at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale | 2017! I put them both to the test and let's see what the results were!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II: This claims to be for all skin types and this claims to help fight visible signs of aging. This will help you get a more youthful, radiant complexion and is great for people with dryness or uneven texture to their skin. Based on a study that ended last year, this was declared the number one repair serum and that this product was effective for all ethnicities.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex II: I am still on the hunt for the best eye cream out there and again, this is formulated for all skin types. This is targeted to those with puffy eyes, dark circles, fine lines and/or wrinkles. The formula is described as 'a rich cream-gel' that uses ChronoluxCB Technology.
Price, Sizes & Where To Buy The oil comes in 3 different sizes: a 1 oz/30 ml bottle retails for $80, 1.7 oz/50 ml will run you $118 and lastly, 3.9 oz/115 ml that is exclusive for VIB Rouge card holders only, retails for $225 but has a value of $306. The two larger sizes are limited edition and if you haven't already guessed, you can purchase this line at Sephora or at your local Estee Lauder counter. If you're wondering about the eye cream, it comes in only one size and it will cost you $74 for 0.5 oz/15 ml of product.
Would I Purchase A Larger Size? The oil is not the best smelling product, but your skincare shouldn't really smell good because it's all about how the product itself performs. Even though I purchased a deluxe sample size, I hate that there is no dropped and it is very messy to use. I didn't feel like it did anything to my skin and my skin isn't exactly in repair mode at the moment because I'm still in my 20's. Overall, I much prefer the Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Restorative Radiance Oil (discontinued) that I have been trying out and I wouldn't purchase the full size.
The eye cream definitely had an Estee Lauder scent to it and was a true gel-cream consistency. It glided effortlessly onto my under eyes and I really enjoyed using it! The under eye area was not sticky, it was plump, hydrated and looked luminous! I even had my mom try out this eye cream and she loved it! A little bit goes a long way and if I ever wanted to splurge on an eye cream, this would be the one for me!

Hey everyone! I have been hearing so many people rave about the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation for the longest time and I wanted to put it to the test!
Where To Buy & Price I purchased mine online on the Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty Boutique for $46 CAD. You are getting 1 fl oz/30 ml of product. I originally went into a Sephora and they told me that at that particular location, they do not carry the Estee Lauder line but they do carry the Estee Edit. I thought that was ridiculous and I went to the Beauty Boutique (Shoppers Drug Mart) with no luck of swatching it in-store because they didn't carry it at that location either. Both stores do carry it online and I honestly guessed my shade when ordering it.
Update: It now retails for $52.
Shade Selection There are 39 shades to choose from on the Beauty Boutique web site and 55 shades on Sephora's web site. They cater to all different undertones whether you are cool, neutral or warm which I really appreciate. I originally was going to purchase a darker shade and I am so glad that I did not because I ended up ordering 1N1 Ivory Nude which is an identical match for me.
How It Wears Throughout The Day & The Claims This claims to have a 15-hour staying power which keeps you flawless all day long and is natural looking on the skin. It goes on to say that it is oil-free, lightweight and has a medium, buildable coverage. It says that it doesn't change colour and I agree with that because it did not oxidize on the skin when I put it to the test.
My skin is extremely oily all over (not just my t-zone,) and I was very impressed with it! Usually my skin is ridiculously shiny at the end of the day despite my best to control my oils with blotting sheets and translucent powder.
My skin was not half as oily as it normally gets throughout the day and I would have to agree with the claim that it is oil-controlling. I was also in a very humid and hot area to really put this foundation to the test. My foundation held up so well and I was shocked that I wasn't oily on my forehead yet! I would say that the formula was very lightweight, my face looked absolutely flawless and this is my new go-to foundation whenever I have an event or special occasion to attend! I honestly didn't expect it to wear this well throughout the day but it exceeded all of my expectations. It is also fragrance-free, Dermatologist-tested and Ophthalmologist-tested.
Is It Worth The Money? Without hesitation, I would have to say yes! This is obviously more on the expensive side but it is definitely worth it! The formula is incredible and it helped control my oils throughout the day. I found a shade that matches me perfectly which can be a struggle for most of us. This does not come with a pump but you can obviously purchase one separately and put it on if that is what you prefer.

Hey everyone! On Friday, March 24th, I went to the Estee Lauder Sale which was the first day of the sale. I then went with my friend to the L'Oreal Warehouse Sale - both are by invitation only.
The line was very long inside and we did not move at all for a good 20+ minutes. My friend and I waited for almost exactly 2 hours to get inside the sale. The line outside moved rather quickly but inside it did not. That was the longest time that I have ever waited to get inside and I have been going for many years now.
The last time I went, it took my friend and I roughly 1 hour and 10 minutes to get inside. If you want to see what I purchased last time at the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale, I have linked it for you.
Honestly, even though waiting 2 hours in line wasn't ideal, I saved a ton of money and I mainly attend the sale for the great deals. They had some great savings on GLAMGLOW yet again and the $4 bin had so many amazing items! I purchased 15 items from the $4 bin which I don't regret at all!
The line for the lipsticks was very long and I waited 20 minutes in line which never happens. You browse the tables to see which lipstick(s) you would like to purchase, you then write the number on a piece of paper and then you line up to give your paper to an employee who goes to find it for you.
I originally wrote down my selection, seen the line and went to another area in the sale before I finally came back to line up to purchase a lipstick for my Mom which I have not included in this haul.
Free Gift At The End
MAC Studio Nail Lacquer in Shadow (x2) (10 ml)
Retail: $15
What's Inside The $5 Bag
MAC Studio Nail Lacquer in Like My Gown? (10 ml)
Retail: $15
MAC Huggable Lip Colour in Bonsai Bloom (3.2 g)
Retail: $24
MAC Colour Drenched Pigment in Night Thrill (1.85 g)
We went to this sale last because it closed later than the Estee Lauder Warehouse Sale did as we went to both sales on the same day. I didn't purchase as many items as I did at the other sale, but I did find some great bargains!
I want to say that the NYX section was disappointing and a lot of eyeshadow singles as well as quads (from all different brands) were shattered.
Of course we had to stop for some food because we were starving and we went to Nome Izakaya which is in North York at Yonge & Sheppard. It is a Japanese Restaurant and Lounge.
My friend got the Spicy Short Ribs which had some kick to it and they were cooked well overall. We both got the Japa-Burgers which we thoroughly enjoyed and would get again in a heartbeat. I then ordered the Bulgogi Tacos which were were decent but not my favourite.
The portions may look small but they are great quality and very filling so don't be fooled! They also have oysters on special on Tuesdays & Wednesdays which I definitely want to go back for! Also, it is a small restaurant and the tables are close together. It does fill up quickly and I suggest that you make a reservation before going here.
